In addition, he called later that evening to make sure I was still doing OK (I had figured out the problem and was no longer at the parts store when he drove by several hours later, checking on me, a total stranger). He even offered to loan me money to buy car parts, not even knowing anything about me (I didn't need to, but I really appreciate his trust).
