I came from Colorado as an Instrumentation and Controls tech at a power plant. We hire a HVAC…read morecontractor to perform our basic maintenance, which we should be able to perform in house. I had a very limited knowledge of HVAC and decided to take the AC and Refrigeration class from Ultimate Tech Academy. I attend up to three classes a year in various fields to benefit my employer as well as myself. I have been doing different training for over eight years. Ultimate Tech Academy is the most beneficial training that I have ever been through. They had multiple trainers in the five days that I was there, which had various different backgrounds that made the training easier to understand. I could not believe the amount of hands on equipment that they had to train the students on. There was two HVAC classes going on when I was there, which had around 20 students total. There was plenty of equipment for everyone to work on without standing around. This is not a class that you should take if you want your employer to pay for a free vacation. Our classes started at 8:00 am and we did not get out until after 5:00 pm. They also require homework at night. I decided to take the NATE CORE & NATE HEAT PUMP tests, which of course added more homework time to each of my nights. After Ultimate Tech Academy's class I was able to pass the NATE CORE and missed passing the NATE HEAT PUMP test by a couple questions. For me to be able to do so well on the two NATE tests with only one week of training as well as very little HVAC experience is amazing in my opinion. If you are wanting to learn to benefit yourself or you want your employees to get a great training class you cannot go wrong with this course!!

Honestly if you're coming here come with some experience already. The ones with no experience they…read moredon't care how you do. Also DO NOT take your Nate certification here go to a local supply house. They don't give you a study guide to study from, they just give you a boat of homework quizzes you have to do to study from. Horrible experience the owner was rude and nasty. If it wasn't for my job I would have never attended. Please save your money there are better alternatives then this. I got my certificate from passing my electrical class thrown in my face by the owner. No exaggeration.

I'm relatively new to the Little Rock area moving here six months ago and I have been looking for a…read moreCatholic Church that I felt welcome at. I had previously been attending another Catholic church, but it did not have a sense of community. I had continued to go but was uninspired. I then came across Our Lady, and immediately I felt more welcome here. Our Lady of Holy Souls Catholic Church is what a place of worship built by a carpenter would look like. The interior is made of simple building materials. The walls and ceiling are brick and wood and the floor is simple black slate. There are stained-glass windows illuminating the church and a sky light shinning down on the alter. The absence of marble alter is very refreshing to me. The church I attended in Irvine, CA had a similar feel so maybe my opinion is tainted by missing home. Unlike my previous church, Holy Souls offers a social gathering selling coffee and donuts after mass. My other church did not offer this. A large part of going to church is a sense of community and as a non-native of Arkansas, my other church did not welcome me. Holy Souls welcomes native Arkansans and outsiders. Holy Souls also has a small Catholic School. I cannot comment on the school but from its physical size, I imagine there would be a strong bond between students, teachers, and parents knowing each other. At some other large Catholic schools this can be problem. Holy Souls is located within the Hillcrest area. The streets leading up to the church are narrow. There is a small parking lot adjacent to the main entrance but it is easier to park on the side streets, just be mindful of the neighbors who live there. Again, I was debating not attending church while I lived in Little Rock because I was uninspired, but Holy Souls changed that for me. If you're in the same situation as I was, please attend Holy Souls a few times. It changed my mind. I hope you will feel the same way.

I know many kids who establish true friendships and miss the school and their teachers once they're gone. I'm passionate about education and learning and this school met every expectation (even for an advanced student). We loved STEM, bike days, and reading time! I'd point any parent to this school. Your child will leave happy and be excited about returning the next day. He/she will learn, grow in character, and be loved beyond measure.
