The company's hiring process seems quite unprofessional. I…read morehad an interview scheduled with both doctors on a Saturday. When I first agreed to the interview online, it stated that the employer would call at the time of the interview. I waited by my phone and 10 minutes after the agreed time, I decided to give them a call. They said they expected the interview to be in person. So I apologized, even though it was not my mistake, and we agreed I would be able to do an in person interview an hour later. I got there, the interview went great, and they said they would get back to me within a week. A week passes and I still haven't heard anything back. I call them the next Saturday, but no one answered the phone. I called again the following Monday and told them I want to check on the status of my application. They put me on hold for a few seconds and then tell me that the doctor is sorry to get back to me so late but that the position has been filled. Very unprofessional for an employer to not get back to applicants at all until they check in, especially when it was communicated by the employer that they would reach out to you within a certain time frame. The acupuncturist was knowledgeable about my rare disorder (CRPS) and offered several suggestions for how she could treat me for that plus a few consequential symptoms I hadn't even considered could be relieved with acupuncture. The community treatment room also felt tranquil and even though there were others in the same space having treatments, I felt relaxed and able to enjoy the session. Everyone seemed very respectful of others, being quiet as they entered/ exited and honoring each others' privacy. This was my first acupuncture treatment and everything was very thoroughly explained, down to how I should expect to feel during and after, and I was urged to let the practitioner know if anything felt off or painful beyond the initial discomfort of the needles. I am feeling less pain in my foot already (about 4 hours post-treatment). I am hopeful that continued treatments will continue to give me relief. But the experience was so relaxing and enjoyable, even if it's unable to totally heal my CRPS pain, I plan to keep going back!

Dr Karney can help, but I had to put in my work too, by going to her regularly. She is good, but not to the point you can be healed if you don't go see her! Here in 2026, I still see her weekly. My back is not the only thing that has been healed during my years with her. I no longer take any pharmaceutical medication, such as blood pressure, Gerd, and sleep drugs. And after about 8 years on a CPAP machine, I have been sleeping like a baby without the machine for about 9 months now. My energy is the best it has been in 10 years. Brain fog has pretty much cleared. I have dreams again. What she offers is not the "normal ". But to be honest the mainstream "normal" wasn't working for me. And I bet you can do better too!
