A chiropractor that I am loyal to just got started at this location and it was very easy to get paperwork done and to get into their system. Their staff is super friendly and helpful. I was in considerable pain and they were able to get my paperwork situated before my appointment so I could just get treated. Dr Barefoot is my chiro-- a gentleman and takes ownership of your issue- very knowledgeable and every time I see him I feel better afterwards!!! Beware.... All the hallmarks of a scam Personality wise, everyone here is very nice and act as professional as they cant. But receiving medical diagnosis and treatment recommendations from an office manager and not a Physician or Chiropractor doesn't cut it for me. Also, use common sense and discuss any treatment with other "MEDICAL" professionals before handing over a small fortune of cash $$$$-$$$$$ or committing to years of financing. Don't feel pressured with a well crafted video or marketing plan. Just to make it clear, my insurance has in the past covered some chiropractic care with my back but this place evidently doesn't even check. I wonder why! So, I came here after being SPAMed on Facebook for a free Neuropathy evaluation. I have Neuropathy and the office is close to my house so what could hurt, right? Well they found a way to drag that evaluation into 3 separate appointments, yes 3. So I was a bit pissed off but as long as I wasn't paying beyond time off away from work, I thought I would stay the course with not a whole lot of expectations having seen this type of advertising and marketing in the medical field before. My Ex is a surgeon in California and my daughter runs an ICU unit in Colorado. I have been around all aspects of the medical profession and seen multiple Eastern Medicine and Chiropractors personally before with the later almost screwing me up once. So I am pretty aware but open to things that make since and have a history of success. Visit 1, personal information forms and a quick discussion about what they do. Visit 2, Medical Intake forms and finally a discussion with a recently graduated Chiropractor (not board certified in Neuropathy), a quick thermal image of my feet (top side of feet only with a cell phone), and a quick test of tactile sensation and pressure on top of the foot but failed to evaluate the spread of it under my foot, ankles or lower leg (it wouldn't be hard for them to cheat on this test, just saying). This was followed up with an x-ray of my lumbar spine due to existing back issues. Visits 1 & 2 could have been very easily combined into 1 and should have been. Visit 3, now with you comfortably going there, the "OFFICE MANAGER" not a chiropractor let alone a medical doctor, reviews your results and makes the sales pitch with their treatment plan. As it turns out, this office manager has the medical training to diagnose and recommend treatment based on x-rays, NOT! But she does anyway. This is also where they hit you with the cost of treatment. But by now, you have already been told that they don't take insurance, mostly because insurance doesn't cover unapproved forms of treatment. Yet they have covered Eastern Asian treatments like Acupuncture, So what does that say? So what was the cost???? Just for the Nephropathy treatment, about the same as surgery by a plastic surgeon only there are zero guarantees on any positive results. My estimate hear when well into 5 digits. Recourse if this business suddenly goes out of business after I pay them, NONE! But I wine the "SUCKER AWARD!" And when I asked for a copy of the treatment estimate, I get a blank piece of paper with the costs with no letterhead or text to who is providing this (pictured below photo). That is the hallmarks of a scam operation. What bothers me the most other than the Office Manager presenting me with a diagnosis and recommended treatment is the fact, The only person advertised as Board Certified in Neuropathy, Brice Neff DC, isn't even available as I was told he doesn't really see patients any more but just runs the business. That was a turn off because of his certification which I value. When I requested to talk to him I was only offered a phone consult. Medically speaking, understanding the cause of your Neuropathy is is not always simple but as important as treating the results of it. I don't think they have the education or experience here to do that unless it is something easy like diabetes or neuro-muscular or vascular trauma prior to onset of Neuopathy. read more

THIS OFFICE SAID THEY WOULD REFUND US IF WE DELETED OUR NEGATIVE REVIEW!! My 86 year old father went to this office for help. They preyed on him. Before you say we are not a patient, that is not true as a complaint was made to the Arizona Chiropractic Board, which was held today, and Dr. Neff received probation. If you are willing to reverse the charge for us deleting our bad experience with you, then I am demanding you reverse the charge since the board found FAULT with Dr. Neff and his staff's nefarious ways. My father was made to sit in a room to watch a film for 20 min. He told us he felt like it was a brainwashing movie. The office manager is not sorry at all and tried blaming the patient saying he could have left at any time. If anyone has half a brain they will realize that not all people are capable of doing so, especially when elderly and do not know how to say no without sounding rude. My father was so pressured that he literally had to lie to say he was going to go home to get the funds, just so he could escape this office. They were pressuring my father to sign a contract for 60 months, at $455 a month for $16,000. At the end of those 5 years, Dr. Neff would have received over $27,000!! This place should be shut down for their practice, the way they pressure people, and for the fact that they are not sorry even a bit. Apparently, there were other complaints as well! If you are pretty healthy and just need an adjustment, this is probably not the place to go. The people are super nice but their goal is to create a treatment plan which will require 2-3 visits per week. No adjustments on the first visit. Business-wise, I see why they don't advertise this. I have had back pain for years. I have gone to a Chiropractor before, but it was an hour appt three times a week, not including the drive. Who has the time! I have tried everything else short of surgery, so I was searching to see if there was any other option. I saw a yelp review where a Hydro-therapy table was mentioned. Great reviews and a 1/2 mile from my house. I figured it was worth a shot. The office is very clean and the staff are very nice.  I went into the examination room and the Dr. Neff came in and discussed what problems I was having, he explained how he believes he could help.  Before Dr. Neff did anything he took about 8 x-rays of my back, to make sure there is no other injury. The next day the Dr. went over my x-rays with me educating me on what we were looking at, then we began treatment.  You go in for your traditional adjustment in the treatment room with the Dr. After that they start you on traction which is a table you lay on and it has rollers that stretch out your back. Then they moved me to a Hydro-therapy table, this is like a shallow water bed with jets under it, this massage relaxes your muscles. IT IS WONDERFUL!!! I have had an excellent experience every time I have gone in for an adjustment, the receptionists remember your name, and everyone is very friendly. read more

Dr. Neff and all of the staff at Arizona's Family Chiropractic are AMAZING!! Your first appointment includes meeting with a nurse practitioner or the doctor himself to discuss your symptoms and then getting x-rays taken! The doctor doesn't adjust until reading and discussing the results of the x-ray. What stands out to me about Dr. Neff is how thorough he is! Even though the adjustments are quick you also do rehab/pt exercises afterwards to help with the recovery process. Love this chiropractic office so so much!! AZ Family Chiropractic has inspired as well has delivered the hope and improvements I have been needing as well as looking for since the end of June 2023 until now end of November 2023. I have many physical improvements in my posture of my spine especially in the lumbar and cervical areas. My lower back Geometry had one side much higher than the other side with a positive slope. Now, the imaginary line is nearly horizontal with a slope of zero--nearly normal. My neck had the wrong curve--concave down rather than normal concave up. Today, the curvature has been corrected to concave up due to several adjustments and many posture pump sessions. Furthermore, my Neuropathy has improved while my nerve loss has recovered from 74% nerve loss in my right hand to only 33% nerve loss--41% improvement. Dr Neff and his staff are the best! I am always greeted warmly when I come in and the whole place is always spotlessly clean. They are very accommodating too, I have called many times and asked if I can get in within 20 or 30 minutes and they always say yes. You know how exciting it is to go to bed in a freshly made bed with sheets that you just washed, well I was really looking forward to crawling into bed because not only were my sheets freshly washed they were brand new.... well I learned a lesson, you see I was trying to save a few bucks (you know so I can try some new restaurants and write yelp reviews right) so I didn't buy the 600+ thread count sheets. Having gone to bed feeling great in my fresh sheets, I wake the next morning and my back is killing me. Ok, maybe it wasn't the sheets but I couldn't think of anything else to blame it on. So after waiting about a week I realized that my back was getting much worse, so off to the Chiropractor I go. I began to call around and ask questions to find a good Chiropractor and settled with Arizona's Family Chiropractic Center, here is what you can expect: As I walked in the office was very clean and smells quite pleasant, I was warmly greeted by the staff behind the reception counter. In the waiting area there were numerous selections of magazines to read (although I have never had to wait) they also have a selection of games/legos in case you have a young child with you. I went into the examination room and the Dr. came in and discussed with my the trouble I was having, he explained how he believes he could help. Before the Dr. was willing to do anything he took about 8 x-rays of my back, he wants to make sure there is no other injury such as a fracture, as well as get a clear picture of what is wrong. This first consultation is FREE, they charge you nothing! The next day I returned and the Dr. went over my x-rays with me educating me on what we were looking at, then we began treatment. Brice Neff has helped tremendously to mitigate issues with TMJ over the past few years, but since they re-branded the office under Integral Medical, service has failed to meet basic expectations. For my appointment today, he made no effort to address my TMJ issues. The chiropractor himself was good but I'm very disappointed in the staff. I went to their office twice almost 2 months ago. I paid the full,price while the front desk lady said she would verify my insurance and get back to me. If I had overpaid, there would be a refund of monies paid. I never heard back. It's now December and my benefits will change in the new year. I've met my our of pocket expenses. IF they are in my network then I could've been receiving treatment this entire time. Wow! Are you kidding me? These guys seem nice enough but they obviously are just trying to do the salesman pitch. They have a great office staff that treats you really well but behind the scenes the PA just started and the doctor just wants you to watch a video that tries to convince you to sign up for whatever they are pitching. I have been to several different chiropractic facilities and I absolutely LOVE AZ Family Chiropractic. They are super family/kid friendly and can fit you in every time, even last minute or walk-in. Dr. Neff and, now, Dr. Baker really take the time to explain what they are doing, why they are doing it as well as getting to know you as a person. They really care about finding the best solution to reach optimal health naturally. I've been to doctors, physical therapists (and other chiropractors!) and the only relief I have gotten was here. My son has had chronic ear infections and would do antibiotic after antibiotic. We finally stopped the insanity and brought him to Dr. Neff.
