My son has an expressive speech delay and previously we worked with three other therapists but hands down Maureen is the best. The assessment I received at the beginning was so thorough and informative compared to what I received previously; you can tell she really knows her stuff. Before Maureen, my son dreaded going to speech therapy sessions, I would have to drag him there crying. Now my son literally asks everyday if Maureen is coming over to play with him and he truly enjoys each session. I am always amazed at the fun games and ideas she comes up with to get him to start saying new words. One major thing I love with Little Speech Boutique is that I can have her come to my home, instead of driving to a center. I find that my son is much more comfortable at home and of course it's a lot easier for me. If you are doing your research and trying to find great speech therapy for your little one, I highly highly recommend Maureen.

We had an incredible experience at Looking Ahead Pediatric Physical Therapy. We initially…read moreestablished care after our son was born with Torticollis, and from our very first visit, we knew we were in great hands. Our child worked with Jessica for the majority of our time there, and to say she's exceptional would be an understatement. She brings a rare combination of clinical expertise, intuition, and warmth that made each session not only productive but truly enjoyable--for both our child and us as parents. Jessica has a gift for teaching through fun. She used creative play, games, and imagination to keep our child engaged in every session, all while targeting meaningful progress. She celebrated every milestone, no matter how small, helping to build confidence and excitement along the way. She was highly observant and adjusted exercises in real time based on how our child was doing physically and emotionally that day. It was clear she always had our child's full picture in mind--advocating not just for physical progress but overall well-being. As parents, we also felt incredibly supported. Jessica explained everything clearly, without ever talking down to us, and gave helpful tips for reinforcing progress at home. She created a welcoming, encouraging space that our child genuinely looked forward to visiting. While Jessica was out, Andrea stepped in to continue our care--and did a fantastic job. She ensured our child stayed on track and brought her own thoughtful, expert approach to each session. It's also worth noting that Andrea is the owner, and the tone she sets at the practice--warm, professional, and child-focused--is clearly reflected in the care we received throughout. We're so grateful for the impact both Jessica and Andrea had on our child's growth. We'd wholeheartedly recommend Looking Ahead to any parent looking for a physical therapy team that truly partners with families and brings out the best in their kids.

I would not recommend this physical therapy office based on my experience…read more I had an initial evaluation scheduled weeks in advance and made significant efforts to ensure I could attend. In fact, I chose not to travel out of town that weekend specifically because I did not want to miss this appointment. I also completed all intake forms and paperwork online ahead of time to make the process as smooth as possible. Unfortunately, there was a major accident on the highway during my 40-minute drive to the office. As soon as I realized I would be delayed, I called the office twice, but no one answered. I left a voicemail explaining the situation and letting them know I was still on my way. I finally received a callback when I was only two minutes away from the office. I informed the front desk that I was pulling into the parking lot. When I arrived, approximately 20 minutes into my one-hour appointment, I was told that my therapist, Grant Mullins, would not be able to see me because an entire hour was required for the initial assessment. What made this especially frustrating was the complete lack of flexibility, empathy, or effort to find a solution. Grant was present and watched the conversation taking place at the front desk from one of the treatment stations, yet never approached me to discuss the situation personally. There were no patients with him at the time, as the appointment slot had been reserved for me. Rather than attempting a shortened evaluation, discussing next steps, or even acknowledging the inconvenience, I was simply turned away after driving 40 minutes to get there. I understand that schedules matter and that policies exist. However, exceptional patient care requires communication, professionalism, and basic courtesy. After making every reasonable effort to notify the office of my delay, completing all paperwork in advance, and arriving ready for my appointment, I expected far better treatment. Instead, I left feeling ignored, disrespected, and as though my time had no value. I don't know if race has anything to do with it, but it's an all white office in Tennessee, and I am black. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this practice and will be seeking care elsewhere.

I could barely even hold my 3-year-old daughter! I chose Beyond simply because it's close to my office, and I'm so glad I did. Javier and his entire staff (shout out to Concilia, Romany, and Grant!) prioritized deep understanding of my condition and goals, and tailored the perfect plan to guide my recovery. Combining patient, focused visits and a detailed home exercise regimen, they kept me both challenged and encouraged. And it worked! I'm once again lifting and tossing my baby girl with ease, and overall feeling better than I have in years. My course of treatment at Beyond PT was an incredible experience--feeling less pain and greater strength every single day. I wish I could just keep going, but, you know, economics. Yet as I leave, not only have I accomplished my rehabilitation goals, but I have a toolbox of stretches and exercises that will keep me feeling better and stranger as long as I choose to keep using them. I highly recommend Beyond Physical Therapy at Berry Farms!

She visited us after we brought our baby home and gave us a personalized gift bag, which was so unexpected and sweet. With our permission, she took sharable and discreet pictures during our birth experience and one of our favorites is right after he was born of us all together. She also sent the timeline she documented of when things were happening during the birth and at what time - something very special I had not even thought of! Even before we met Erica, the owner, Vicki, helped us personally with some paperwork we needed for our insurance company and I knew from the beginning this team would go out of their way to help new moms. Also, after baby arrived, Sarah met with me in my home to teach me how to do a super helpful postpartum wrap, which I also recommend. We can't thank Erica, Vicki, Sarah, and Nashville Doula enough. Highly recommend!

Assisted Family Care has just begun providing ECF services to non-veteran clients. My 19 YO child…read morewith intellectual impairment, severe autism, and extreme anxiety was a client of theirs for roughly 5 weeks. During our time with them, it was a constant struggle and I now feel that they were poorly equipped to take on ECF services. The director, Tyson, never provided clear guidelines for how to work with them and HE dictated the days/hours for service with zero regard for what me & my child really needed. During the community integration outings with the care provider, my child was constantly harassed to "have a plan", ridiculed about the mileage and/or distance they were having to drive to take her places (to the point of tears and extreme anxiety every time they were going to be venturing out in the community). There was little to no assistance with activity planning, the care provider was short tempered and even yelled at my child on multiple occasions, they would pick her up late and drop her off early resulting in loss of CIS hours. When I spoke to the HR person (Shelley), she assured me that we would figure it out together and that she appreciated the open dialogue. One 1/2 months after starting services, she came to finally do our orientation. I expected this meeting would result in clearly defined parameters regarding mileage, distance, cost, and scheduling (having asked those questions of her previously and having stressed my child out about it during every outing) but no such information was provided. When I escalated my questions and requests for help to the director, he basically told me that I was being rude/aggressive (I most certainly was NOT) and that he was going to need to discuss with his staff whether we were a "good fit for them or not". He assured me he would get back to me before our next scheduled visit (5 days later), but he NEVER got back to us. My child sat in the window for and hour this morning waiting on the care provider to pick her up. When she never came, I reached back out to Tyson who THEN informed me via text that "we were not a good fit for them and that he would let my service coordinator know". Moral of the story, they do not know how to deal with people who are neurodivergent, they have no ability or willingness to assist with schedule/activity planning, they are poor at time management and communication, and they are adverse to questions or constructive feedback. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone seeking CIS services through ECF.

We bought into the expansion package with Dr. Prather for palate expansion because she had an appliance that I wanted for my child. The biggest problem is that at the end of the treatment, we did not gain the width we were told we'd achieve despite excellent compliance. When I asked questions, nothing was addressed or adequately solved. The solution was to tell me that I just needed to start "phase two" and pay for an entire other treatment plan, obviously for thousands more. Please beware of money grabs and get second opinions; beware of any dental practice running a spa.

We were given a 3-4 week away appointment. (No empathy shown from staff. ) This inevitably caused a lot of tears and hopelessness due to the state of our baby and the powerlessness we felt in the situation. Thank God we were advised by a lactation consultant to go to Dr. Baxter in Birmingham! (Sounds like a crazy drive but it isn't and is worth it plus June coffee company is there.) He has emergency appointments RESERVED for parents like us and prioritizes us due to the gravity of the situation. Also... Dr. Baxter just so happens to have written the book on best practices, TongueTied. He also prays over the patient/fam before laser surgery. Finally, I just called Women's Group of Franklin and made an appointment with whoever they had available. Lucky for me, it was Dr. Montville. Dr. Montville is relatively new to the practice, so her schedule is easier to get on, but I imagine it will be filling up fast. She's great. She didn't give me grief about my historically laidback approach to preventative healthcare, she addressed my questions, and kept me informed on what I need to know. The exam was quick, but it didn't feel rushed. Dr. Montville is kind, actively listens to you, and brings a comforting personality to an awkward situation. And since I tend to joke a lot, it was very important and comforting to me that she joked back. I highly recommend Dr. Montville to anyone looking for an OB-GYN. She's awesome.
