Leo Burnett
I think there is much to be said about excellent leadership and for that reason I have a lot of…read morerespect for Leo Burnett because of its front man - Todd Sampson.... Todd is an intriguing mix of moral integrity and social ingenuity. When I met him I was blown away by this perspective and groundedness. Although he has a Don Draper mind, you get the feeling he has more of a Richard Branson spirit - a global thinker with heart. In the world of sell sell sell.... i got the feeling that Todd realises behind the customer is a human being. He takes that relationship seriously and thats enough to convince me that Leo Burnett Advertising Agency is able to deliver a message that can truly connect. Provided Todd is at the helm, I'd feel comforted by the agencies work.

I found Fitbiz through a google search but tried another place who was not helpful before I called them. Harsh G at Fitbiz was fantastic. I explained what I needed and he handled everything so smoothly. Made it really easy for me. After 24 hours of flying, his care and consideration were so welcome. I called at 11.30am and the dumbbells/resistance band arrived at my hotel room at 1.30pm the same day. Great return service as well. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

It might be the nanna in me, but I really do love to go and look at antique stores. And it is not…read morejust my mother pulling me into the stores reluctantly, either, in fact it is usually I pulling her. Yes, I truly do love to play in old dusty shops filled with things left behind or discarded by other people. And to wander in a store where any move I make could result in a serious bank withdrawal. Ok, have you finished judging me yet? The Olde Wares Shop is a great place to indulge my inner grandma. When we enter the antique shop the lady always smiles at us warmly from the register but leaves us to wander and explore by ourselves. The store is usually quiet, with only a few other customers browsing at one time. Most things are organised on display shelving or cabinets in specific sections, such as glass, plates, silverware, etc., to be easily recognised. Use the knowledge of the shop owner and ask as many questions as you like, she can answer confidently and quickly and even offers further information about its history when she can. In the Olde Wares Shop, there truly is a strong antique and collecting culture. If you buy something from here you can leave knowing where it came from, the date it was made and possibly even how it came to be in your hands.

You'll actually be surprised by some of the price tags, it's not all over-the-top rates like we've come to expect from antique shops. Take your time and have a thorough look around.

The reason - because it's a local hangout for the dudes of the hood (otherwise known as any male residing in North Sydney). It's an institution in the sense that it's been here a long time and men come here to chat. It's next door to a coffee shop and I was watching one day as George (I'm only guessing) nattered to the Dad's with their kids, came out every 5 minutes to check out the street (or get some fresh air... or move his limbs... who knows why old George moves around so much). I love the blue themed postcards covering the wall. I love being a woman but sometimes when I walk past George's place I want to know what it's like on the other side.
