I have lived here for almost a year, and with my lease coming up for renewal, I wanted to leave a review. The amenities are honestly amazing: a huge, well-equipped gym; a resort-style pool with cabanas, fountains, and in-pool lounge chairs; grills and plenty of outdoor games, including a life-size chessboard. There is also a beautiful club lounge with a pool table and shuffleboard, along with a business center that includes computers, printers, and a library. Additional perks include on-site dry-cleaning lockers, in-unit washer and dryers, and valet trash pickup right at your door. I live in a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment that is approximately 1,003 square feet, and the apartment itself is very nice. It features subway tile, great flooring, marble countertops, and an overall clean, modern look. It is also very affordable for what you get. One of my favorite features is the bathtub--it is the biggest bathtub I have ever had in an apartment and is definitely a true garden tub. The building is a four-story high-rise with a gated parking garage, and there is on-site security who lives in the community. Access to both the garage and the building requires a key fob, which adds an extra sense of safety. They also offer on-site storage units that are very reasonably priced. I have a small unit that is $25 per month, and it easily fits multiple storage boxes and suitcases. I saved the best for last--the staff. They genuinely care about the residents and take pride in keeping this a clean, safe, and welcoming place to live. They regularly host fun events, contests, and giveaways that really help build a sense of community. I especially want to recognize Kaygan and Candace. They are incredibly thoughtful and have truly shown that they care about my experience and well-being here, which played a big role in my decision to renew my lease read more

I'm honestly baffled at how the property manager even climbed up to that position. From a resident's perspective, I've seen zero leadership or any positive work ethic that should be expected--especially in front of the leasing professionals who actually do their jobs well. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! These apartments have been nothing but a nightmare. In just four months, I've faced MULTIPLE issues, and the management has been utterly useless. I paid $35 upfront through the app for a parking spot, yet somehow got slapped with a $75 returned fee out of nowhere. Trying to get answers from Candace, the property manager, is a joke--she's unreachable by phone and only replies via email, exactly as other reviews mention. She told me to contact my bank, but after three calls, my bank confirmed there's no record of any returned payment. Despite this, they refuse to waive the fee under any circumstance. The staff, including the assistant manager, have been rude and completely unprofessional. It's clear these apartments have zero respect for their residents or their money. Avoid at all costs. That said, no shade to the three leasing agents--they're actually very good at their jobs. When I asked for contact info for higher management, I was flat-out refused ( " there's no higher person other than her self "). I would not recommend this property. Within the price range, there are better options. The atmosphere is poor. No community, bad looks from staff (try greeting them when walking by), and revolving door of poor management. It doesn't feel like a home and it's not welcoming. read more

Management at Argon apartments is a joke. They treat their tenants like garbage. Maintenance is a serious issue and nobody seems to care. I was a resident here for seven years from 2018 to 2025. While the community was a great place to build memories, particularly due to the generally quick response time for service requests and the fact that I never had any pest issues, I believe it's important for prospective long-term tenants to be aware of certain operational and policy challenges. The most significant and consistent challenge during my time was the high turnover rate among office staff and property managers, with five or more managers over the years. This led to a lack of continuity and, at times, inconsistent policies. Verbal agreements, such as a promise of a free final month's rent in exchange for a lease renewal, were not honored due to staff changes. I acknowledge that this was my mistake for not getting the agreement in writing, but it highlights the importance of documentation here. My apartment, a small studio, was generally safe and comfortable. However, a major concern was a window that leaked for over five years despite multiple service requests. While I was not charged for the resulting water damage upon move-out, I was surprised to be charged for minor scuffs on walls and wear on the flooring after seven years of tenancy, totaling $500. While there is certainly flooring damage, this was resultant from an incorrect floor installation even prior to my moving in and I still ended up being charged for this. This is an important consideration for anyone planning a long-term stay, as "normal wear and tear" may not be an inclusive term in their policies. When discussing this with the apartment staff I was largely told--and I am admittedly paraphrasing here--I was lucky that it wasn't more than that which came across as tone-deaf and dismissive. Additionally, a few building-wide inconveniences were common. The elevators were frequently out of service, which was a notable challenge for residents on higher floors. You should also be prepared for infrequent complex-wide false fire alarms, which occurred multiple times a year most notably during the winter and often during the early morning hours. The community amenities and guest policies also experienced frequent, and sometimes confusing, changes. Pool rules, for example, would change from year to year, creating a frustrating inconsistency for residents and their guests. Likewise, guest parking became a notable challenge over time. Guests were not allowed to park in the main garage, and the suggested guest parking on Blackwelder Avenue, cars parked on the first floor of the garage, as well as the former guest spots in front of the building (now reserved spaces), experienced multiple vehicle break-ins, including my own. Overall, the community was not a bad place to live for a short period, especially given the promptness of maintenance responses. However, for a long-term tenant like myself, the high staff turnover, inconsistent policies, and unexpected move-out charges ultimately detracted from the experience. read more

I lived in Apartment 253 for two years with my two daughters. When we first moved into the apartment, both of my daughter's bedroom windows were leaking on raining days. So comes to find out corporate office was blaming me for "having dressers" in the closet due to the mold throughout the apartment we were in for the two years. Corporate office was blaming me for the mold because they did not want to be financially responsible. So come to find out that the corporate office is only to fix one the apartments at this time. The amount of mold in apartment 253 from what was extremely high could be the worst outcome for both of my daughters. I found out that the corporate office. was had mailed me a check in the amount for 230 dollars to an old address. So at the time, I was told that corporate was office would reissue me a check. I never received the cheok. I called to inquire about the check and Kaygan informed me that corporate does not owe me money. Corporate office is handling this matter unprofessionally because they don't want to cover the cost of the mold, so that they are not giving me my cheok. The two years I lived there, I knew cars were been broken into, drug deals happening in the parking garage, two guys attempted to break into my apartment, homeless people sleeping in the lobby, domestic disturbances, and parties as well. If I did bot have my Revolo recording those two man, god knows what they would have down. I do not recommend these apartments at all. The gift wrapping station is a good idea-but it is rarely stocked, so bring your own paper (& scissors & tape) in case you don't get lucky with the 3 or 4 rolls they might lay out. The coffee machine is good. Not much else. First big problem: the staff. There's never been such a group dedicated to passing the buck or just saying it's not their problem. (I could really go into details of the inept lack of proactive inanity, if you like). Elevators break down and stay that way for even months at a time. Safety? Not here. Package thefts weekly and near riots at the pool that the cops have to try to snuff out. Business center computers are iffy and printer worse. Tell the office the printer is down to get a shrug and a 'if it works it works.' The actual apartments? They exclaim loudly about the luxury. Cheap melamine Ikea knockoff cabinets, cheaper plumbing fixtures, and of course- the 'luxury vinyl wood plank flooring' they inexplicably boast about- let it sink in: 'luxury vinyl wood ..... plank flooring.' They're overpriced and the location is the most inconvenient in the city, unless you're only going to Costco, anyways. read more

I've had to deal with homeless people trying to get into the complex at night, cars being broken into, SO MANY maintenance entrances (30+ in 1 month to fix a leak) and one time they entered without being home, after I specifically left a note. I work from home so the amount of work I was unable to get done real messed up my income. Too bad, the management wouldn't care either way. Save your money and live elsewhere. Hoping this place is bought by a management group who can actually run it correctly. These are not luxury, only luxury priced for a awful area. Bad parking, (only 1 entrance to the complex) packages stolen, and various other things are just a few more reasons I'd never live here again. read more

It's currently January 16th and the fire alarms have went off twice so far this year. Argon states they cannot fix the issue. Went off for over 10 minutes this week!! During the time of fire alarms going off Argon had zero response and manager then refused to to discuss the issue with me a tenant about the disturbance. Last year the fire alarms went off over 10 times throughout the year multiple times going off throughout the middle of the night and early morning without any remorse or course of action from management. I have experienced the good and bad that come with apartment living but the one consistent is how truly customer service centric the Team is there. I know there has been significant turnover and it can lead to problematic customer service, however, I have found just the opposite, as the Ladies and Gentlemen there have been very accommodating and welcoming. As a current 3 year resident of Argon, I can't wait for my lease to expire soon. I couldn't stress enough NOT to live here based on my experience. What once was a peaceful and clean environment has VERY quickly turned to the opposite. Crime, trash, lack of general upkeep and even aggressive breed dogs to name a few personal favorites. There are so many problems with this property that it would be virtually impossible to describe them all. But let's try; the air conditioning in the club room, library, and work out facility has been out over three months in the middle of the summer. Not a week goes by without at least one elevator sometimes multiple elevators not working. The hallways or common areas on all floors are filthy and trash is left in the hallways for extended period of time allowing for maggots to form in the bags. The grilling area has never been properly cleaned and you have to use the grills at your own risk as they flare up and it almost impossible to control the heat. The controller for the music and TV and the grilling area has been broken for over a year and a half. Since I've lived here there have been at least 15+ false fire alarms. The water to the building has been shut off numerous times. Most recently we were told not to drink the water for over two weeks with very little communication during that time! It took over two weeks to change out a lightbulb and swap out a refrigerator. But, not without their maintenance person aggressively and verbally creating a hostile environment in my apartment. Which carried over into the managers office at which point he tried to crush me with a door. My vehicle has been broken into along with many others in the parking garage and outside parking areas. There is also a big problem with packages being stolen from in front of peoples doors. Just to be clear these issues I brought up or just the tip of the iceberg with regards the to this property. The issues in this post have not been resolved the statement by the ownership was posted minutes after this review. just a blanket response to negative reviews! Your maintenance person assaulted me in your managers office. So I think I'll take a rain check with regards to meeting with y'all, Maybe you should resolve the assault that took place rather than just respond to this review! read more

I have lived here for 7 months. Like everyone else has said the staff is nice. However the manager Joshua is conceded, rude and makes excuses at every turn. The water has been shut off for days twice for repairs. Elevators have been down 11 times for a total of almost 3 months and currently has been down for 2 weeks. There is no management, they don't care. There is mold on outside of windows. This place was built in a year and they bought everything cheap. Its not luxury. Its a shame as it looks nice on outside but its just a danger zone. They allow people to part in every fire zone for days without care which is a risk to the residents. They allow parking anywhere which makes Blackwelder a 1 way street. Worst place I've ever lived. Stay away if your smart. read more

Great proximity to good restaurants and night life which is a plus. However, logistically a struggle and hassle to get to and from with high traffic and one way service roads to the turnpike. No parking lot for visitors which leaves and another hassle with cars parked on both sides of Blackwelder to get to the parking garage. Be mindful where you step due to lazy pet owners. "Valet" trash service is not worth the $1.17 a day, and be sure to follow the guidelines or be prepared for reprimand with a picture of your offense on your door. Fob access doors are often propped up defeating the purpose of the "gated" and secure complex. My 3 bedroom unit had uneven heat and air distribution and caused dramatic temperature variances in my unit from room to room. Pool is great but often crowded with non residents. Office staff is great and personable but management could use a few hospitality training course if they want to market themselves as "luxury" apartments. They are for sure priced as "luxury" apartments. read more
