She has such a great eye and appreciates the styles from every era. Though she has a great deal of consignment, I have found my most special vintage items at Rosa Rosa's, and at a price that is usually below that of more trendy vintage shops in the city. I love the little groupings of items and colors around the store. I usually don't go a single month without taking something home from my favorite little boutique.

I saw a Cartoon Dress being wheeled out to a sidewalk display & soon as I saw this dress, I knew it had to be MINE Noting where this shop was, we returned that afternoon & there was a huge crowd & a waiting list for the dressing room - an actual waiting list I loved this concept - the girl helping us took my dresses so we could continue browsing & then she came to find us when it was my turn to model my finds That cartoon dress was sheer awesomeness! I also found another 1920s-style dress that was hand-beaded & too lovely to pass up Best part is that they participate in VAT free shopping so I got my taxes back! They have a collection of Brand New Vintage items from the roaring1920's, 1940's, 1950's and 1960's style. You can also purchase retro clothes here as well too. Recently I left the store with way more than I had intended....a pair of jeans that fit perfect for 15 euro, a dress (perfect for the office and also for a party with the right accessories) for about 30 euro, and a red purse for 10 euro. So, prices vary. It is not the cheapest second hand/vintage shop around, but their items are quality and the store is laid out well, so that you don't need to dig. The following morning I went back and picked up a sweater I had been eyeing, as well. As I said...too much! I was with a friend and she bought a trench coat and two tops to wear to the office. The biggest problem with this store is that it is too close to my apartment, and therefore it is too easy to shop there. They are open late on Thursdays, which is very convenient. They also have what looks like a decent selection of men's clothes and their little baby second hand winter coats are so cute!

It's a small shop on a side street right of the spuistraat. Beautiful shop full of hand made jewelry. This place is the main place I buy my rings and earrings in. (I'm not a necklace fan but they do have those as well). The style is very delicate and feminine and they have a big selection. The girls at the shop are really helpful and will adjust a size for you (mainly with rings) if necessary. Lovely shop. Not the cheapest place but I do have some of their things for a few years now and I'm really happy with the quality.

In here, you'll find lots of jewellery, (rings, bracelets, earrings, necklaces) that is handmade in a studio in Amsterdam. I hesitated for a while, and finally decided to get two little gold filled hoops earrings with lovely details on them, and a little gold dot stud. The staff was super nice, and really helpful. And because I wanted a special pair but in an other size that the one presented in the shop, one of the staff member actually made it, in front of me. It's not cheap, but because the gold filled is such a nice and reliable material, and it is handmade, it's totally worth it. If you're in the neighborhood, definitely go and check it out !
