The only problem that we had with our photos with was figuring out which were the best, because there were so many good ones! Susan also took amazing portraits of our three dogs. Wrangling them and getting them all in one photo is no easy feat. She got the photo in much less than an hour and the dogs had a blast. She's very professional but also extremely fun to be around. My husband isn't exactly a picture person, but he never seemed to mind her taking his photo. As quality photographers come, her pricing is also very fair. If you have the chance to book with her, seriously take it.

We were not looking for formal, posed portraits for our wedding; we wanted to capture the real and spontaneous moments of the day that, to us, make it special. Rebecca does this flawlessly. Her photos capture the emotion and feeling of the moment in a really true and honest way. Because we were on a budget, Rebecca worked with us to give us a package that fit our needs at a price we could afford. She talked at length with us about what we were looking for, and made sure to get shots of details we wanted to be sure not to miss. Her professionalism was bar none, and she coordinated with other staff to ensure we got all the photos we wanted just right and without needing us to assist, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the day. The end result was nothing short of magical. I didn't expect to love the photos from the wedding as much as I do, but my husband and I find ourselves looking at them more often than expected just because they really capture the happiness and joy of the day in such a real way. He seemed to be having fun the whole time, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We're really impressed with his work, and my wife and I would highly recommend him! After viewing some of his portfolios on his site and instagram, we reached out to him about 6 months before the wedding. Since we aren't local to Richmond, he started the process with a few "ice breaker" questions and an introductory phone call to talk through our vision for the wedding, his process, and review the packages he offers. We needed a couple more hours of coverage than was offered in the packages, and he was flexible in making that work. All payments were painlessly done through an online portal. The day of the wedding, PJ was there on time to take pictures of the bridal party as they got ready. My wife commented that having him there felt perfectly natural. Arriving at the wedding was a bit... hectic (for other reasons), but PJ and his assistant went above and beyond to be helpful in the process, distributing the boutonnières and even helping some of groomsmen pin them on! After the ceremony, PJ was organized for the formals (he had the list we had sent him set as his phone background) and flexible as we snuck a couple extra group shots in. It was a relief to work with someone who added zero stress to the event! We had a bunch of fun and, at PJ's direction, got some artistic shots in with the bridal party in Monroe Park. He did a great job capturing the reception as well, making sure to grab our rings for a couple "artistic" shots and even pulling my wife and I aside for a few less formal photos. He had all of these creative ideas with little direction from us. Following the wedding PJ provided us our photos on his online portal. Starting with a smaller set of sneak peeks about three weeks after the wedding, then a highlight video and full set two or three weeks after that. The site had the ability to download the photos in high or mobile quality, hide photos from other viewers, and made it super easy to share with our family and friends.

I'm here to scream from the rooftops and tell you that having a photo booth at my wedding was the best decision that we made. Period! I went back and forth for months about this. Weddings are so incredibly expensive. I often joked that any little thing you added was another $1000 out the door. Well, turns out it wasn't really a joke. It was more accurate than I would like to admit. So, when it came down to focus on priorities and think about what to eliminate, at first the photo booth fell into that category. But then, I thought I would deeply regret not having something else for my guests to do at my reception, so in the end we decided that it was worth the money. Boy were we right! We only had Andrea there for the last 1.5 hours of the reception and that was perfect. It stayed poppin all night and we got 200 photos worth of priceless memories of our family and friends. She was extremely professional, allowed me to choose my own backdrop and template for the prints, she customized the template according to my wedding colors, sent me digital copies of the prints within 48 hours, and brought all the fun props with her. I don't know what it is about photo booths, but they never get old. Many of our guests commented that it was such a good idea to have this. These photos are doing a great job of holding me over until our professional pictures come back from the photographers.
