Eight months ago they charged me $340 for 3 guys for twice as much stuff, from Alaska Airlines in Anchorage to Palmer. Claims 45%+ is due to inflation but gas prices are about the same as 8 months ago at $3.76/gallon. Didn't know I would be paying two guys @ $75/hour while driving. I'll find someone else next time. I got scammed this time. Dealt with Noah. UPDATE: Instead of resolving the problem of being overcharged and fixing the door to my crawl space they damaged in my house, they chose to have a text war and comment here on their review. Honestly, don't hire them. $300 just for driving 40 miles with 10x5 storage facility of belongings. Bill was estimated to be around $330 and overcharged at $517. I paid them just so they would leave my house but now they have a lot more to say. Do yourself a favor and find someone else to help you.

When he got in the connex which was a quarter full & quoted a price over $2,000.00 my thoughts were that it was ridiculous. I then replied that Got Junk quoted me $378. and I paid U-haul $78.90 & dump fees of 127.00. His reply was rude "I am not giving to a charity case" I have to run a business, I stated "I am not a charity case". He then came back with, "Well, I have to run a business". I immediately asked him to close the connex door and thanked him for his bid but could not afford it. I do not recommend this company! The attached photo says it all!

Blue Arctic Waste is Locally Owned!!…read more We had been hauling our trash for several years because we canceled our trash service with the other trash company in town due to their unprofessional service's but when they were the only game in town for trash pick up, it's hauling your own or put up with what they're business practices. I met their representative (Mick), and he spent less than 30 minutes looking at the job, and explaining the scope of work. I got a call from Mick about 30 minutes later, telling me the total was going to be $12,107.40. I told Mick that was too much money, thanked him for his time, and ended the call (it was a two minute call). I bought a shop vac/buckets/bags/tyvek suits, hired a friend and spent six hours cleaning up the mess myself. Anyway, no big deal, until I saw the $350.00 charge on my credit card statement from Pioneer Floorcare. I had given my credit card number, and verbally authorized $50.00 for an estimate when I first contacted them. I made a follow up call, and spoke to a guy who sounded sympathetic, and agreed it was too much money, but said he couldn't do anything about it. Reputable companies don't need to gouge people like this. Reputable companies don't need to gouge people like this. I found it with Pioneer. Scott came out the day I called and gave me a quote. We got it scheduled for a few days later and I had to change the appointment but Scott made it work for my situation. The technician came out and did my three bedrooms, stairs, living room and tile hallway, it looks so much better. The carpets weren't soaked to the core like I've seen in the past either, mildly damp and walkable the next morning. The price was reasonable and the customer service was great. So much so I called Scott back today to have my primary home cleaned next week! If you need quality carpet and floor cleaning at a fair price and great customer service I don't think you'll go wrong with Pioneer Floorcare.

We used AK Restoration Pro to help dry our floors when we had a pinhole leak in a pipe; they were…read morehighly rated, and able to respond quickly, and we had no idea what to do as we'd never encountered a situation like this before. We will never use them again. After an initial inspection, we were told a team would be coming to set things up. That team was led by a smooth talker, while courteous, was unprofessional - they showed up high out of their minds, and took about 45 minutes going back and forth to their van, to plug in 4 fans and 1 dehumidifier. We learned a few days later that they walked out on their employer (not shocked); a few days later, we learned they did a poor setup, pointing fans towards one another, effectively cancelling each other out. Shocking, was the bill. 4 fans, 1 dehumidifier, for one week, $2500. The only labor they did was plugging in the fans and dehumidifier - that's it. These same fans can be purchased at Home Depot for $60/ea. The dehumidifier, while big and loud, removed less water than our home dehumidifier, which they included pictures of in their invoice. The invoice was sent on 3/6/25, though showed a due date of 2/5/25, making it over a month late on the same day it was sent. Frustrating, to say the least. Hopefully we'll never find ourselves in a situation where we need to do something like this again. If we do, we most certainly will not be utilizing AK Restoration Pro.
