Great apartment-style hotel right next to the Thomaskirche in downtown Leipzig. A little hard to reach with a car or a taxi (you have to enter the pedestrian zone; I got a ticket doing it), but the location is hard to beat.
The hotel itself is quite nicely-appointed inside. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, and our daughter slept on the sofa bed in the living room, which worked out well (we only stayed one night). We ended up having dinner in the connected restaurant, which was pretty good, too.
There's a nice library off the lobby, and if I remember correctly, they have drinks for purchase in there, too. I'd definitely return if I wanted to stay near downtown Leipzig, and needed more than a standard single-room hotel. read more
