As of 8/10/24 regular unleaded is $6.699 a gallon! No advertised price! complete rip off!

Avoid this station like the plague!! Every other Arco in the state charges $3.50/gallon for regular. They charge $6.699!!!!

DO NOT GET GAS HERE!! I was an idiot and didn't think anything of the fact that they don't have the their prices listed on their big sign and I of course didn't check the tank prices. Turns out they charged me $6.79 a gallon for REGULAR! The chevron across the way had it for $4.89. I feel scammed and that money could have gone towards feeding my family. read more

This place is a total scam. No prices posted. Rude staff after finding out they were charging $3/gal more than other stations nearby and other nearby am pm's. Staff said its been reported many times and nothing happens to them so it's perfectly fine. Let's hope the Oregon state dept of consumers affairs can do something about this utterly corrupt business that preys on consumers/travellers. read more

I had a horrible experience yesterday I went to go get gas. I passed the Chevron went to get gas not thinking about the price at Arco. I filled up my car. It was $113. I almost had a heart attack and looked at the receipt and it said 679 a gallon that was $2.50 More than any other gas station in the area or for that much any gas station in Oregon I don't know how it was legally OK to do and it's totally wrong. Please do not go to the location and they are misleading prices on the boards. read more

BEWARE This arco has been scamming customers since at 2019. They cover up their price sign and then charge you $4.38 per gallon for regular awhile the going rate is $3 per gallon right now. The chevron is a safer choice. read more

This place scammed us out of 100 bucks. Price isn't posted anywhere that you would see if you don't pump your own gas. There are signs that say that all pumps are attended and an employee will rush over to pump your gas so you don't see the price on the pump. Service was fine and our attendant was nice, but the price is just ridiculous, and completely dishonest. Wish I would have done a 5 second google search to see that this place is awful, but I never would have thought they'd be charging $6.69 per gallon! Lesson learned, I guess. This place is so ridiculous that there are even news articles about it. read more

I got scammed too. Expected ARCO prices and filled my tank unknowingly at $6.69/gal. How is this legal?

No prices listed. You would think arco is cheaper than the chevron at $2.80 a gallon. $3.90. For what? F'ing crooks. Learned a lesson today tho. If there are no prices listed, ask! Thanks for the free car wash in the middle of winter! read more

Price GOUGERS big time! Prices not posted, deceptive practices. $3.00 MORE per gallon of regular unleaded than any other local station. CROOKS. No Arco for me EVER again! read more

Absolute fucking ROBBERY. Assumed gas was cheaper at Arco than it was at chevron, but couldn't see pricing due to them hiding their price board with signs. I got regular unleaded and to my complete and utter shock, was charged $6.69 A GALLON. Spent $80 on a $45 tank of gas. Their sneaky methods and lack of transparency should be illegal. Absolutely DO NOT go here unless you want to sell your first born child to afford a tank of gas. Absolutely furious. read more

ARCO - Gas Stations Near Me - Woodburn, Oregon

Biggest rip off ever!!! I checked my bank account today to discover I paid nearly twice my regular fill up cost! No prices posted that we saw. We stopped there because Arco is always a good price, but not this one! Now I see they've been ripping people off for years! How does Arco or the State of Oregon let them get away with this?!?! 1 star, only because I'm not allowed to give a zero! read more

Never stop there. They charge a double for regular gas. I stoped there today and I didn't check prices. So in the wand I paid 100$ for 15 gallons. The price was 6.66$ for galon, when chevron price was 3.40$. I have never seen prices higher than here.!! read more

Went there Sunday for gas, Totally shocked when charged $6.69 a gal. For gas Not only that, went to purchase some stuff inside and was charged more for the items. They said there was nothing they could do about it. They then went and pulled price off shelf and refused to give difference back. They're telling everyone they charge more because THEY are charged more. Then WHY are they the only ARCO with this pricing issue??? read more

This Arco doesn't post its prices on their large signage and today was $1.40 more per gallon than the Chevron across the street. My mouth literally dropped open when I realized I had just filled up my tank with gas for $6.69 per gallon. Filling up there cost me $14 EXTRA because I wasn't paying attention and assumed arco was cheaper. Avoid this place! After I got home I found this article so they've been doing it a while. AVOID!!!! https://www.kgw.com/article/news/investigations/oregon-law-doesnt-require-gas-stations-prices-reader-boards/283-4ec73985-3349-4c79-bce2-2767cdaad62e read more

The last time Woodburn Arco had fair market prices was when the ARCO was on the tiny corner lot on the main road. When ARCO moved to the upgraded location the prices jumped $.70 to WELL OVER $1 beyond market price, and it's remained abusively high ever since. Deceptive, abusive, sneaky, fraudulent, all apply to this specific ARCO location. This is the ONLY ARCO I've experienced this out of hundreds, so I'm convinced it MUST BE THE OWNER of this location specifically. Any argument that this owner pays this % more cost for gas can not be justified by facts, and I'm willing to testify about it having been a customer for decades (until a few fill ups at the new station). Most people fill up at the travel center south of Woodburn these days if possible, or any other gas station ANYWHERE ELSE! It's time Oregon laws penalize abusive businesses like this one! read more

I don't know how its legal to not post the price of something until after a patron has already paid. How does this gas station get away with this? read more

One star is too much. The sign is covered from the street so you can't see how much they're charging. As of today the lowest price is 6.70 a gallon. The Chevron across the street is at 3.99 a gallon. Go elsewhere. read more

I just got ripped off like the other reviewers have written. What a scam they've got going! Arco is always cheapest, so you assume it will be cheaper than the Chevron across the street.Nope! $6.69/gal. Never again!!!! read more

disturbing how this gas station conducts business. They are a total rip off, please avoid. I called Marathon ARCO this morning, they said the station is independently owned an can charge what they want for gas. I nicely asked if they would take note of this concern. If I could give NO stars, I would. Completely hiding the prices, not being up front with the price. Luckily I asked before handing over my life savings. $6.65!! Across the street was $5.09!!! Scam and price gouging. Filing a complaint with BBB and department of Justice. read more

No prices are posted on the signs or at the pump. Shady and I'm pretty sure illegal not to show price at the pump BEFORE pumping.

Stopped here on the way to Crater Lake. Call Chevron and decided to stop at Arco since their prices are generally cheaper. Looked at our receipt and we paid $4.59 per gallon versus $3.70 at Chevron. It is a total scam. They cover up their sign with an "open 24 hrs" sign so you don't know the pricing. Don't go here!!! read more

Never go here. Gas is a rip off. I got scammed and I'm hoping it doesn't happen to anyone else. Charged me $4.689 a gallon.

SO SHADY! Skipped Chevron at $3.65 thinking Arco is always better. NOPE! Sign is covered and way more expensive. I got $5 of gas and it was 1.08 gallons. Total rip off. Charged me $6.79 per gallon when I wasn't looking. Next exit, gas was $4.49. This is what is wrong with humanity.

The biggest scam I have ever seen! They don't post any prices. I must have looked at the sign at the station next door when driving in. There is not a station within 20 miles of this one charging more that $3.59 a gallon for regular unleaded. They post nothing and I was told by the attendant afterward that "the City of Woodburn doesn't require it". I was charged $6.69!!!!! read more

They try to keep it hidden that their gas is priced $3 higher than any others, luckily I figured that out before I used it.

This station is ripping people off... I mean, one would think and know that ARCO is the cheapest gas around.. Not here.... I did not look at the price immediately, but after 2 gallons of 87 octane, I noticed the price was at $6.79 per gallon, and this is 87 octane I might add..... I told the attendant to stop the pump and left..... This place has ethics or morals, and frankly, I am amazed how this business stays in business with such practices. Total scam and rip off.... This place does not even deserve 1 star.... read more

Stopped by to get gas after checking google on nearby gas stations, it shows online $2.799 per gallon for regular and Arco is known for being a bit cheaper than others. I was schooled to see $3.799 per gallon on regular. Went into store to check, was told they are entitled to name their own pricing. Their big sign Arco conveniently had all pricing covered. Chevron across the street has regular at $2.89/gallon. Arco headquarter claimed they can't handle local site complaints and suggested reporting price gouging to State government. I will never go to this gas station again and will give up Arco chain for good. There has been multiple complaints about this gas station on Google review: they cover up their pricing under their big Arco sign and pricing is outrageously high. read more

They cover their sign still with an 'Open 24 hours banner'. I paid $4.49 per gallon today. Read the price on the pump itself. Don't assume it is cheaper because it is Arco. DON'T GET GAS HERE!!!! GO TO CHEVRON. They owe us $12. Read all their bad reviews. They even turned off reviews on Google so people could stop warning other people. They charge a TON more than any other gas station in the area and hide their prices so you don't notice until it's too late. Google Woodburn ARCO and you'll see there is even a news article about their shady practices. I hope there's a class action lawsuit, which wouldn't be their first. No longer going to ARCO. I'll go out of my way to go to Chevron or somewhere else. Really disappointed. read more

Let's be real here. BP is not charging this Arco exorbitantly higher prices for gas than everywhere else. Arco itself is known for being on the lower-priced side of all the major fuelers out there. It makes no sense that out of all of them, this one just happens to be getting gouged by BP corporate. Then they roll out a flimsy excuse for covering their sign: "it's not bright enough." Yeah, sure it isn't. So it hasn't been "fixed" in two years? I'll bet! Hiding behind a loophole in Oregon law that excuses them from clearly displaying prices like others normally do is not it, either. Saying their car wash is the cheapest doesn't cut it when most of those are just a few dollars anyway and people are spending much more on the gas itself there. And who cares how nice their mini-mart is? Still, buyer beware. You should be looking at prices or asking what they are before you start filling up. Aside from that, unless the people running this Arco are going to offer proof of what they claim, don't believe them. Get your gas somewhere else. read more

I needed gas so I stopped by Arco but good thing I checked the gas prices at the pump because it wasn't being displayed on any sign.
