I was driving to the city of Redland from West LA, so it was a welcome break. This gas station is located between the freeway and a small road. A tall mountain sits across the street from this place, which made for some dramatic scenery. I parked at the pump, and asked to use the restroom. The cashier told me I needed to buy something, so I bought a small bottle of water. I went around back with the key, and entered a well-maintained restroom. It smelled like they sprayed cologne in there. Nice! When I came back to the cashier to return the key, I decided to buy a Mazapan (a type of Mexican treat). The cashier was a pretty cool guy, and I very much appreciate this place for providing me with what I needed. I cannot speak for the gas prices, as I did not pay attention to them nor did I fill up here. But everything else was fine.

When I visited this afternoon around 5 PM the gentleman inside seemed to be trying to pull some kind of scam from the customers. I gave him $38 for gas and then cashed in some lottery. He never counted the $38 and put it to the side of a register. By the time I got to my pump he still had not put my gas in. I went back in and asked him to put the gas in, he put $30 in. I went back again and he said I didn't even count the money. He then said I will count it and add the additional eight. Something super fishy going on this afternoon.
