In the winter I ordered one and they called me in the spring when it arrived. I brought the plant I wanted transplanted in the new pot and they did it free of charge. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. The plant selection varies every time i go in. If you like plants then this store will become your favourite.

The Long Version: I recently got into houseplants. My sister-in-law and I now share that hobby, so when she and my brother were in Montreal they stopped by Centre de Jardin Brossard to poke around. They got me a Haworthia Cooperi, which is a plant I've been wanting to add to my collection. It was tiny and super cute (I love tiny plants that don't grow too big). It was $12.99. What really impressed me was that the soil it came with was a good well-draining mix of organic and inorganic material. Most greenhouses and all big box stores have their plants in very organic and/or moisture retaining soil, which usually require re-potting, especially in the case of succulents. I was thrilled that I didn't have to re-pot immediately. These guys don't grow too big, so I'm hoping to keep it in its original pot for a while yet. Super happy with my gift. I'm looking forward to visiting the store in-person when I find myself in Brossard. Review #122 (2025)
