Once we met Mark, we knew he was the right architect; his work speaks for itself, it's beautiful with every detail reviewed. He nailed our initial drawings and the only changes were changes we made later. Mark is very responsive and patient with all of my questions. He has been very helpful in reviewing contractor's qualifications and our concerns and questions along the road. His plans are very detailed for the city review, contractor, and for our needs for finishes etc. We highly recommend Mark FitzWilliam!

We have been working with Rodwin Architecture since March 2016 on a 3,000+ sq ft custom home in Boulder County. Design is complete, and we are awaiting county review. REVIEW SUMMARY: We have been very pleased with the work that Rodwin Architecture has done for us so far. Scott and Kirsten have been great to work with, and the people we have met from the partner construction company (Skycastle) have been extremely helpful and professional, even though we have not officially committed to using them to build, yet. We would highly recommend talking to Rodwin Architecture if you are considering building a custom home in Boulder County.

Scott's group has perfected the art of consulting with the City of Boulder during the building design phase, so that when the building permit application is made, approval is fast and easy - a true feat in Boulder. Our Job Captain / Architectural Designer, Jim Kadlecek, is detail-oriented, outstandingly organized, unfailingly cheerful, and one of the hardest workers I've ever met. The entire experience of working with Rodwin Architecture in designing our 4400 sf feline veterinary hospital has been as bug-free as is possible when juggling such an enormous number of variables, and the result is beautiful. I recommend Scott and his team without reservation.

I left a wonderful company because I thought I have a future there. In week two I realized that this place was not for me. I was brought on as warranty Manager and came to the realization that something awful was going on with the warranty department. Colorado law states that all new builds come with a one year warranty. This is for the homeowner and the builders protection, in reading this warranty I came to the educated conclusion that the home owner had no way of ever getting anything corrected. I spoke to the owner and he explained to me that this is the way it's Supposed to be in his company. I was shocked but swallowed his words. This owner stated several times that his company is an open book something I never saw. I personally witnessed a home inspection PAY in his contract for a built in gas grill to the amount of 3600. This was added to his total bill of the home. He received a store bought gas grill and it was left in the garage. When the home owner just patiently asked for the amount back minus the cost of the grill he was told NO you have a grill and told me as the warranty rep to offer him 500 to go away. The homeowner was tired of an uphill battle and relented. Two weeks go by and still no 500 to the homeowner. I believe in KARMA so I sent an email to the boss ( I put it in writing ) that the company agreed to the 500. I also sent a resignation letter directly after. Please watch your self if you do business with this company. Please There is no employee loyalty in this place they go thru employees like I change my underwear (lol). The owner has to remember a happy employee is a great employee. It's all about lining the Weins pockets. They both could care less of the human aspect.

I found Brent to be very open to my feedback and desires, and worked with me effectively when issues in construction were discovered. I liked the fact that he only takes on a few basements at a time so as not to get overloaded. The allowances included in the estimate are on the lower cost side, so be prepared to have somewhat limited choices -- or you have the ability to purchase a higher cost option and pay the difference. I found that for the vast majority of the design choices, I was able to stay within budget. I am very happy with my new living space and would recommend Basementology.
