While their stock is mostly high-end equipment for adults, several of my friends have gone here to suit up their young ones at a good price. What I especially like is their skate sharpening. Really wanted. We did find it elsewhere but when we tried to return the original pair the same day, we where told NO Refunds. This is not how you stay in business. I was very dissatisfied with this and will never return. Prices where good and I was thinking g if making a league purchase with them but this bad experience means I will NEVER GO BACK. Now I'll have to market place or eBay the other pair and hope I can recover my money.

As an outdoor addict, I'm a fan of the Sail Store. Very clean store and a huge selection…read more The only downside is the staff's expertise. Last winter, I bought a North Face winter jacket at Sail and after an horrible winter season with this jacket, I had to open a claim at North Face. I was told by North Face that Sail sold me the wrong jacket for the activity type. Last but not least, driving to the store with the notorious traffic jams at the Dix30 is simply horrible. I miss the old "surplus style" original Sail Store.

The selection of turkey decoys alone is remarkable. I have never seen so many turkey decoys together in one place in my life! The store is nicely laid out and it's pretty easy to find things once you arrive in the section for your preferred activity. So, why only three stars? The prices are insane. I was browsing hiking skirts and dresses. I saw a skirt on liquidation that I thought was cute and was oh this is probably like $10. NO, try $70! Every single dress I was interested in cost $100 or more. Granted they were nice brands like Prana but still. You can get very comparable stuff online or lower priced retailers like Marshalls or Walmart. Kind of fun to browse and I'd recommend going just to see the selection but my bf and I both walked out of this store with nothing. Prices way too high!

I ended up buying two snow suits for my kids and asked the cashier about their promotion going on but was told it didn't apply to my purchase. I was at another location and was told that I should have received a gift card. So I went back, ready for battle. However, I was met with such a lovely, lovely saleswoman. Not only did she help me with finding an awesome winter coat for myself, she resolved my gift card dilemma and spent so much time turning me from an angry customer to a very happy customer! I don't think anyone else at that store would have provided the same level of service. She was a problem solver and did so happily. And it felt genuine; not a fake ass kisser in order to make a sale and get rid of you. You know that type! As a matter of fact, that same snarky cashier that made the initial mistake was there and I literally could see her roll her eyes as my saleswoman took so much time correcting the cashier's mistake. I went back a third time and husband found winter boots and coat. I was sad the young lady that helped me with my coat was unable to help me on the floor because she was on register duty that day. I would have liked for her to have received the sales commission because she single handedly turned this review from negative stars to five. We got great service from another salesman that day and snarky cashier was not there. So it was another awesome experience. It is a smaller store than the St. Cat's location but has a great selection. If you're looking for something specific it's better to call ahead to make sure they have it in stock or at least order it for you so you don't leave empty handed.
