I ordered the Oklahoma Smashie, a double smash burger with two beef patties, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and Goose Sauce. This was a very tasty burger! The patties had those crispy edges you want from a smash burger, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the pickles and sauce pulled everything together. For my side, I went with the cucumber salad. I really wanted to like this one, but unfortunately it was the slight disappointment of the meal. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hit the same level as that burger. The Goose describes itself as a dive bar and sandwich shop, but I actually found the place pretty interesting. It has that comfortable neighborhood-joint feel -- nothing fancy, just a cool place to sit down, grab some food and enjoy lunch with a friend. Service was also excellent. The person working the counter was friendly, answered all of our questions and offered some great suggestions without rushing us. Overall: 4 's from me. I also noticed that about half of their desserts were just sitting out on plates on an open counter. Half of the desserts were not behind a barrier, covered, or even wrapped in plastic. The environment is an older establishment that has acquired some dust around the place, so not sure desserts sitting on the counter is a great idea. Their hours are listed incorrectly online as well. While we were there, a very elderly (80+) customer came in wanting to order meal prep for delivery, and they basically turned him away because they said were already done taking orders for the week on a Monday.
