The screening process to live here is sufficient, with background checks, financial requirements and animal vaccination requirements to make me feel comfortable here. The facility is professionally managed and I have witnessed only prompt actions and service. No other apartment complex has the wow factor that this place has for the money. LML is a work in progress. In 1965, this now 100 year old building was listed as the largest manufacturing facility under one roof in the world! It takes time to develop all the bells and whistles that are planned. I feel confident all planned projects will be completed and look forward to living here and seeing them all come to pass.

There is a huge issue here with them not even upholding their portion of your lease. There not only is drug use but drug sales going on here and they have been given all proof to do nothing but ignore it. The last straw for me was expressing my concern over the pool and being told by corporate that it was safe because the CPO on site has records that it is. My child is covered in a rash from being in the pool. I apologize because the photos were placed in order and they are not showing in order now.

For starters the water pressure is low and the way they bill for the water is criminal. When I went to visit my family for 3 weeks, my water bill for that time period was higher? I was not even home. I submitted a request with 4 items on it after 4 visits from maintenance, I canceled the request. You have been to my house four times already and still have not resolved my issues They promise a full-size washer, but after 3 washing machines, I have never gotten more than a medium load for cold water and the hot will not do anything larger than a small. They keep wanting to switch the washer out- After the 3rd was delivered-the maintenance told me they know the machines are bad and he wanted to order me a new machine. This is hideous. Why did you not do that from the beginning, if you knew they were bad? I declined all maintenance requests going forward. What was fixed is now broken again. Recently, I put in another maintenance request when there was a foul odor in the apartment and how it made me sick enough to go to the doctor, and three days later, no one came to check my vents or air quality in my apartment. There is dog feces everywhere, the residents who do not have pets are forced to deal with this. Management does nothing about people letting their animals poop any and everywhere. They even stated to me when I complained that "They do not clean dog poop". The turnover for the apartments is big, people move in and out asap! Many even break the lease, as it is not a safe place for humans, only dogs! Let this serve as a warning. Management is unprofessional and shallow!! They had new roofing installed, and my balcony was full of debris, which I had to clean, but when they replaced the shingles on the office building, they put down tarps so the debris would not get on the grounds. Just like they do not clean dog poop, I see no where in my lease where I am responsible for cleaning trash that management leaves on the premises.

I was…read morecalled back there to refill the application because I was told that the original one was lost. (There's countless people In the office at any given time and all of our important documents are constantly laying out in full access of anybody, with no staff present. I have observed this every time I was called back there). I filled it out again. I was called back two days later to fill out one of the papers again, this went on for a total of countless times, a few times a week for a couple months. The manager Janelle either would change or have me change the information that I put down and sign or initial. I made it to first on the move in list after a month. Due to racial discrimination Janelle ended up continuously calling me to make tiny changes to my application (like draw a line here or put a dot there) inorder to move people into apartments that were behind me and that held higher rank in Janelles words as having higher child tax credits then me, she continued to call me back and forth until she thought my section 8 voucher ran out. I was even given my apartment number. Past the background check and as she stated to me "had white folks credit". The third time that I was called in was to make a change on paperwork that was submitted in my first application (that they claim to have never found) Some of the paperwork was clearly copies which I never did. I was told to record and document all changes she made to my application and every meeting. Janelle bragged on how she just pacifies us and how she can sell water to a whale while determining if she likes each person or not and how she bases her decision to allow someone to move in based on that. During the second meeting I was asked if I was a Muslim or not, I replied yes and from that point every single thing on my application had to be changed a couple times because she stated that's how corporate wants it, When I told her if she changes that, it would not be true, she said that's how corporate said it's supposed to be. Eventually she called me back to change most of the documents back to what was originally written on them. While in the office on several of the countless returns Janelle would show me other peoples vital information and talk about everything in their files. One thing that caught me was one of the tenants across from the office had a boyfriend and Janelle was angry and told us she was going to put the lady out because had a boyfriend (not living there but simply because she had a boyfriend). When we went to look at vacant apartments that were for viewing, people are using them to sleep in and use the facilities. People were hanging in the halls near the doorway entrance. The office noticed that I kept notes and recordings so they would call me from different numbers and no caller ID. Janelle never intended to give me an apartment, it was very clear that she didn't like me from day 1, so she told me that it would take along time for me to get an apartment during the first month but someone informed her that I was first up on the wait list and an apartment was available for me. I'm not sure what she's doing with people's information but I do know that it is being copied and goes missing quite frequently. I was told the some of the files had to go home with them inorder to get them filed. If you're experiencing this problem, you need to report it. When I called and asked for the owners or management information, they refused to give it to me.
