This guy, Brian Foster (owner of The Tree Service LLC), approached me in my driveway for yardwork,…read moretree trimming and tree removal. He seemed nice enough and legit with a business card, and so we talked about the previous guy who had started trimming both my trees but didn't finish (Clark Tree Service, also worthless) and about the condition of one of my huge trees in the backyard. Mr. Foster was fine with the trimming and having another guy and crew come in and do the actual cutting down of the one whole tree, which was dead and hollow inside and had water in it. The price I paid (which was very costly) was supposed to include the limbs and other huge tree debris being picked up off the curb and the street, where it was placed. The debris sat there for several weeks, as Mr. Foster's contracted crew never showed up to remove it. Thank goodness Desoto County Waste Management had a heart and picked up ALL of it. Then, my elderly neighbor came over and helped me rake up the remaining small limbs and leaves and put them in bags. Once again, Desoto County Waste Management came and picked those up too. After speaking to Mr. Foster several times via phone and text, he finally agreed to give me back the portion of the money that he paid his contracted crew who never showed up to do their job. Mr. Foster would not even give me the name of the contracted crew. I have been texting and calling Mr. Foster constantly since the middle of November, and he rarely replies back to me. When he does answer, he keeps putting me off and postponing and one day he "overslept and didn't make it to the bank". This was after 10 am on the day when he told me this. I deserve that money back. I informed him that if he didn't show up to return my money to me within the week, then I would have no choice but to report him. This was a few weeks ago, and apparently, he doesn't care. He no longer responds to me. I paid for the service mid-way through, which I wouldn't normally do, but he has a way of talking plus he indicated that he needed the money so he could pay his guys. He also tried, after the tree was cut down and taken to the curb, to get an extra $1300. Not that I had the money anyway, but fortunately, I was smart enough not to give him the extra money.
