We were recommended by our friends that this döner shop was the best one in Ansbach. We certainly were not disappointed.
Very friendly lady helped us decide on what to try. She must have noticed we were struggling a little what to decide on eating. She really helped us out since we don't speak German. Once we decided what we wanted to try, she then guided us through what ingredients we wanted on our döner besides the main meat choice which was turkey in this situation.
What it makes this place very unique is that they bake their own sandwich buns fresh. I enjoyed watching the whole process of baking buns from making a dough, shaping into a bun, and putting them in the oven and taking them out of the oven for making a döner with freshly backed buns. When we received our sandwiches, our buns were still very warm. It was that fresh!
There were at least 16 seats (six tables) to enjoy your meals in as well as some outside seating. It was in the sun outside, so we opted to eat in.
We'll be back to enjoy other choices they offer for sure. Our choice of sandwich was 4.5 euros and filled my stomach very well. read more
