I'm not sure why this place has any negative reviews, it was FABULOUS! My husband and I both said it was the best meal we've had all vacation. I had the chicken and beef donor kebap meal and my husband had the beef pita. Both were so flavorful and delicious. The restaurant ambience is small but has a rich and warm feel. Service was great. I have a love for Turkish food that goes way back. This was one of our first meals during our trip and it was delicious! From the complimentary housemade bread to the salad dressing, even the little things were on point. The Turkish pizza was the best and weren't soggy or dry. Perfect! Great way to get some healthy food in before (or after) all the sausage and beer fests. Note that the restaurant was open later than their stated hours. Food wasn't to my liking, however the other people I was with said that is what they expect from this location. The service was also awful. One person taking all the orders and cashing people out, one waitress, and several people who look like friends or family walking in and out of the kitchen/food prep area. Late night food is difficult to come by in Nuremberg, so I found myself drawn to this place late on a Thursday night, in hopes of satisfying my late night munchies. I ordered the spicy dürüm and a side of rice, along with Turkish tea. The dürüm itself was disappointing -- extremely dry. It needs some tzatziki or... something? The Turkish tea was good, and the rice was excellent. I'll give this place credit for being open late, but I just wish the quality was slightly better. read more

I don't know what authentic Turkish food taste like. However, I dream about iskander kabob so could not pass up the opportunity to eat here. My food was delicious, with fresh sesame pita, and the portions were huge. I received tea with my meal. The prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was extremely clean and comfortable. Ok you want a change from sausage the Istanbul grill was a winner. If you like the Turkish food it was very good, love the homemade pita.
