Teuren Hauptpreise und es schmecke nicht ganz gut, mein Lammschulter war meiner Meinung nach zu viel gekocht, sodass es nicht mehr schmeckte ohne Gewürze und die Sauce viel zu viel pickant. Das schönsten dabei war der Eigenspeisen, lecker und gut kombiniert... Ich würde bestimmt empfehlen aber nicht ganz total... Ich bin ganz kritisch von Natur, weil ich selber sehr oft in der Küche stehe also kann sein dass es viele anderen gefällt aber mir war das gerade ausreichend... I went for the second time after a good first experience but this time the service was slow and half hearted, we didnt get our welcome bread, herbs and olive oil, the tuna was cooked well but not spectacular and the coffee was cold. The mezze was good as always but on the whole i rate it much lower than my previous experience. :( read more

The interior is quite nice. The food is well prepared and tasty. The price for a menu is ~€30-40. A main course, with a few exceptions, is between €20 an €30. The mezze are good. Most main dishes are chicken or lamb, with fish and a weird beef steak, presumably for the kind of person that would select a Chinese restaurant and orders chicken nuggets from the kid's menu. But hey, maybe I just haven't heard about the staple Arabian beef steak... I can't really say how authentic the food is, due to my limited exposure to that region's cuisine. The hummus, tabbouleh, and baba ganoush were better than in most Lebanese restaurants I've been to, though. It's a place that doesn't exactly feel cozy and down to earth. Think gucci and starched cloth napkins, not Lawrence of Arabia. Someone said they have belly dancing in the evening, should such a thing floats your boat. read more

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Design, Ambiente, und Personal geben einen sehr guten Eindruck. Vorspeise war lecker und vielfaltig. Zwischen Vorspeise und Zwischengang låsst der Kellner genug Zeit. Zwischengang und Hauptgericht waren perfekt zubereitet. Sehr lecker und würzig. Nachtisch war Ok, hat aber zu lange gedauert. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Wir hatten heute Abend unsere Weihnachtsfeier, mit ca. 150 Personen, hier im ArabesQ, abgesehen von der spektakulären Einrichtung - es gibt einen Brunnen und ein Zelt mitten im Raum - war auch das Essen einfach nur ein Traum (von Tausendundeine(r) Nacht!). Die Vorspeisen wurden am Tisch serviert, es gab jeweils für zwei Personen 15 kleine Schalen voller Köstlichkeiten (Humus, Joghurt-Dip mit Minze, gebackene Teigtaschen mit Hack, Petersiliensalat mit Croutons - um nur einige zu nennen) mit kleinen Pita-Broten, alleine daran hat man sich schon fast satt gegessen, da sie alle so lecker waren. Zum Hauptgang gab es Buffet, alles nacheinander aufgereiht (2 Sorten Fisch, RinderHackfleisch mit Tomaten etc.) und am Ende der Tafel gab es einen riesigen goldenen Teller mit Reis, Kartoffeln, Mandeln, Pinienkernen und Lammstelzen. Diese wurden dann, je nach Wunsch, vor den Augen kleingeschnitten und von einem Mitarbeiter auf den Teller gelegt. Soooo lecker, es schmeckte nach Zimt, Nelken, Kardamom, Koriander, Safran und vielen weiteren Gewürzen und Kräutern. Aber das Wichtigste war das Lamm, es zerging auf der Zunge! Als Nachtisch gab es kleine, dreieckige Baklava-ähnliche Taschen, aber nicht zu süß und selbstgemachtes Eis mit Rosenwasser, Obstsalat uvm. Gekrönt wurde alles mit einem Klavier- und Mini-Trommel spielenden Original, er hat wirklich alle Musikrichtungen und Sprachen gespielt, gesungen und getrommelt - ein Traum! Hier werde ich auf jeden Fall noch einmal privat wiederkommen! Danke für diesen unvergesslichen Abend! (Leider musste ich schon um 23 Uhr gehen, aber die Party geht wohl noch lange weiter...)! I had hosted a dinner party for ten two weeks back for my birthday and although I had never eaten there before, and booked purely on instinct, it was the best decision ever. The ambience was quite befitting for a fine dining experience and the service was spot on. Our table was changed twice to accommodate us where I had initially requested. I had preordered a variety of food which made it easier for prompt service and everyone was able to try everything as the portion sizes were generous. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the ambience and the food and we were sitting there till the wee hours savouring it all. The Mazza was a great way to kickstart the hunger pangs at a leisurely pace and the sheer variety was a treat. To suit everyone's taste buds I ordered a chicken main course, a beef and a fishmain course respectively. The desserts were individual petit four style portions. All in all I had a wonderful time and my guests thoroughly enjoyed and although it is a bit on the expensive side I say it's worth the experience for both the food and ambience and you and your guests will be pampered!
