My go to cocktail is the chic and cheek - light, not too sweet, perfection. aesthetically pleasing but not over the top as some cocktails can be. Elegant. The bar itself opens at 6:30 and fills up fairly quickly but it's hotel guests. I recommend getting here around that time if you want a corner seat. The bar is open until 1:30. It is a good spot to work in if you are traveling for work. There are speakers but the music is overwhelming, nor loud. If you are taking video calls, opt for the lobby lounge, which has better lighting and also serves food and drink. must check out the bathrooms if you're not staying here. they are an elegant experience in itself, perhaps one of my favorite bathrooms I've ever visited. Not a statement I ever imagined saying. for my girls who love a good selfie, the full length mirror is pretty top notch - just make sure to close the bathroom door behind you so you don't have a view of a toilet in your selfie

The Oltremare Ristorante & Lounge is inside the Boscolo Milano Hotel…read more The Lounge and Ristorante are made up of three spaces: a themed lounge next to the spa (called the Arlecchino, or Champagnerie) (floor -1), the Oltremare Restaurant (floor 0), and the Luxury Terrace (floor 8). The Champagnerie is a lounge that surrounds the downstairs spa. It specializes in "luxury bubbles." The week we stayed, the Champagnerie was closed for renovations, but pictures on the web made it look beautiful. The Oltremare Restaurant is where the GREAT Boscolo breakfast buffet was laid out. It is certainly an eccentric design, as they call it on their website. We ate in the restaurant, and ordered room service from the restaurant, and found the food delicious and the service great. The Luxury Terrace bar, with its' view of the Duomo, is SPECTACULAR. We visited, but did not drink or eat here. Four Stars.

A young sophisticated crowd comes in around 9:30pm and they stay open till about 2am. After a stressful day in language class we needed this place. We could have gotten a better deal during happy hour, if we had come for apperitivo, where you get food with your drink purchase. But they do provide bar snacks olives and fruit. Each seating area is designed for privacy, but gives you an open space view to people watch. Downstairs you can buy some of the latest Armani apparel or peruse the bookstore. It's just a really nice place to visit!

Armani Bamboo Bar/ Restaurant Milan…read more This modern, chic restaurant serves good food in a pretty space. We stopped in for lunch and were surprised that the restaurant was virtually empty. While the hostess/initial server was a very abrupt, very haughty (with more than a tad of condescension) unpleasant, British woman, (so unpleasant that we were going to leave) the rest of the staff was better, some staff members even rising to the level of gracious. GianPaulo, for example, was attentive, accommodating and very pleasant, so we stayed. We opted to share the shrimp appetizer, which was quite tasty. We then opted for the salmon poke and seared tuna salad (their version of the nicoise). The salmon poke was not bad. The seared tuna salad excelled in both plating and flavor. The tuna was fresh and lightly seared, and the vegetables were also fresh and prepared perfectly al dente. As the restaurant was quite empty, after the initial unpleasantness, we enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing lunch. While we wouldn't "rush back" to Bamboo Bar, it's well located, has a pleasant ambiance, and the seared tuna salad was quite good.
