I went to get a coolsculpting procedure at Aqua Spa on January 19th. The package I bought was buy ten treatments, get ten treatments free for $499. During one of the treatments I asked the lady who was doing the treatment that it started to give me discomfort. She repositioned the cool sculpting handle. When she took the handle off, I noticed that it looked and felt much different than the other treatment sites. I told the receptionist and her that something didn't go right, but they told me it was a normal part of the procedure and to call if discomfort persists. I made a phone call on January 21st at 12:10 pm in regards to swelling and warmth coming from the freeze burn area. The lady who picked up the phone told me to just put aloe vera on it and that the spa would call me back to check up on me, which they never did. So I reach out again through email some weeks later, and they ask me to send photos through their Facebook messenger. On February 20th, I have a call with the owner who says I signed a waiver that I knew the dangers of the procedure and that she would refund me $284 and of the $534.71 I paid. She also said she would send me a cream to help with mark and that she would send tracking information. Before ending the phone call, she had the audacity to tell me I got what I wanted. I went in to the spa with hopes of getting all my treatments done, not just 6 and a freeze burn mark! On February 22nd she refunds me the money and tells me she will send me the cream on February 23rd. Due to the pandemic, I gave it some time so that the cream could arrive. On March 8th, I ask for tracking information and she doesn't give me any. She ends up telling me that she will resend it to another one of my addresses. On April 29th I once again ask for tracking information, and she tells me to send her a picture. Once she sees the picture she tells me that the cream would no longer help and that I contacted the spa weeks after the procedure, which is a lie, since I called three days after the procedure and knew something was wrong right afterwards. I'm beyond disappointed with this spa and its customer service. I endured a week of pain after the procedure and now have a mark that I have to find a way to diminish. read more
