And when we explained this to the owner she was completely dismissive and said we should have told her we were getting in late. Unbelievable! Our experience was awful. I've rented quite a few condos and airbnbs in my days, and never ran into anything like this where you can't get into your condo if you arrive after 5pm. I would highly suggest not doing business with Coastal Joe.

They refused to do anything and certainly not petition the homeowner on my behalf. They were cold, heartless, and stoic. One tub wouldn't drain the other tub wouldn't stop the water for a bath. Propane tank had an 1/8 of gas in it. Ac wouldn't work and got up to 81F because they didn't even have batteries in the thermostat. A cleaning crew, a plumber, and a ac service man all had to come the day we checked in. No discount or refund offered. Seems like a like of leadership at the top for the house inspectors to come in and say everything is good during check in. I guess they just overlook the mold and ceiling falling in. Ownership doesn't put a dollar back into the house, needs some TLC. I will post the pictures of the attic full of black mold after I show it to my lawyers if they can't do the right thing.

Best Family Vacation in a Long Time!…read more Began searching in January 2019 for a beach house at Cape San Blas. When we stumbled on Two Palms Villa located On The Beach, I knew this was it! Stayed in touch with the owners, Peter & Lydia Burns. (Burns Management) Once the clean up & construction on this hidden gem was complete, they posted pictures. All new decks, walkway to beach w/bench, additional bedroom,Smart TV w/Sirius XM, large kitchen w/large sink, all the amenities you could ask for & more... recommend checking this out before booking. Was like our own private beach, our Grandkids & Grandtoddlers and Waylon our Lab loved playing and running in the White Sand. Candy greeted our first arrivals, we had a packed house! Both Candy and the owners were available to answer any questions, Peter & Lydia took care of our only issue... the trash pick up in a matter of 1 hour. By far this was the best family vacation in a long time. Our 3 Son's, their family and Nana along with Waylon will have ever lasting memories of our stay at Two Palms Villa. Lot's of family time, fire on the beach w/smores. Of course we enjoyed the Hot Tub. Cannot wait until next year. Blessed to have all together for a short week. We have stayed at Three Palms several times (4 I think). It is without a doubt one of the nicest…read morerentals we have ever stayed in at the beach. With adult children and young grandchildren, it suits our needs to a T... large bedrooms with King beds and a bunk room for the kids. Space for everyone to spread out no matter what you want to do. There is a beautiful pool, grills and a place under the house to clean fish if you love to fish. And it is a very short walk to the beach to enjoy the sun and the sand. The house has a fully stocked kitchen, pots and pans, coffee maker, dishes, grilling utensils....you name it and you will find it. Marvelous decks surround the house if you want to read or enjoy your morning coffee outside this house is for you. There are doors from each bedroom to a deck area, so you don't have to disturb the whole house to sit outside. 3 Palms is close to seafood markets and also close to the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar where you can enjoy shrimp, oysters and cold beer in a very laid back atmosphere. We also feel like the owners Peter and Lydia and also Donna are now part of our family . They call and check on you send emails with attachments of things to do or see, and Donna (the concierge) is a phone call away to help with anything from babysitters to making sure you are comfortable during your stay. The only thing I hate about 3 Palms is that we have to leave at the end of our vacation!!!! See you next year!!!!!!!

St George Island is beautiful and having a vacation rental through Fickling was a great experience…read more They have lots of properties for rent including apartments right above their office which are nicely done with nice updates and right in center of town. March 2015, I stayed at a property called Turpentine on the plantation side, gated community at one end of the island. They have lots of trails for walking and biking. You can also take a short walk to the beach. The community has a gym and a pool. Everyone is super friendly and it was the most relaxing and beautiful vacation I've had in a long time. They have a few shops in the center of the island near the lighthouse. Some food stores a bit pricey but you can go off the island to the town of Apalachicola where they have Piggly Wiggly and Gulfside IGA store. Make sure you visit Apalachicola while you are staying, they have lots of shops in the center of town. Gibson Inn has the freshest oysters and nice cozy atmosphere. I've been to this area twice and enjoy something new every time. The view of the stars at night on the island is amazing, especially on dark streets away from street lights....I can still see them in my head....breathtaking.

You can rent them daily, weekly, or monthly. Our cottage had two bedrooms and 1.5 baths, so for our little family, it was perfect. There was also a pull out couch that I think was a queen. There was a full sized kitchen that was fully stocked with dishes, pots &pans, and even grill utensils. There was a small dining table with 4 chairs. There is even a stacking washer/dryer. The small pool out front is 3-5' deep. There's also a community grill and pavilion with chairs and lounge chairs. You can walk to so many restaurant's and boutiques. The only thing keeping this place from being 5 stars is the bathroom. There was mold on the shower curtain, mold on the windows sill, and rust showing through the paint next to the tub. If they would fix that, then the location, size of the unit, and the amenities would make it a five star.
