My experience is based with the Atlanta, GA office and photographer named Bryant. To start he showed up to the appointment over 20 minutes late. He requested a video of me saying my experience was good, fine I did it. Then a few days later I got the link to schedule a viewing and did. HE reschedules for another week out to select the photo's I want to buy and doesn't say a word to me, FINE. It is now 4/25/26 10:13 AM - the day he wanted to have us review them- crickets. Called his number and no answer, texted him and no answer. I will never book with this place again or recommend them to anyone. If i ever do end up getting the spring photos he took the entire season would have already passed. read more

This photographer is a scammer. She rushes the session, takes harsh photos in the sunlight, then has a "zoom" session where she goes over the photos and it's like 100 for three photos. She pressures you to buy the photos even when terrible, especially if you don't know much about how good photos look. She says you can't book again unless you buy photos. Don't book for anything timeless (like maternity, graduation, milestones, etc.) because you are going to want to buy the photos even though they are dog water. We had for fill in for our family photographer and our go to girl was appalled at how harsh the photos were and they were taken at sunset. Easily go with another photographer because the services are not worth the money. Then she says she will give one free photo if you give a 5 star review, it's bullshit. read more

Terrible experience!! I purchased a Groupon from April's Photography to photograph my family on the beach while my daughter and grandkids were visiting for 2 weeks. My original appointment was at the beginning of my daughter's trip knowing that sometimes the weather might not cooperate and we would have to reschedule. We would have 2 weeks to play with. My original appt (7/26/25) was cancelled because the 1 and only photographer in my area (Kate) was not available (even though it showed as available on the website). She proceeded to tell me her ONLY availability was 8/4 & 8/5. Nothing the whole week before that (even though the website showed availability)!! Again, she is the ONLY photographer for April's Photography in the Daytona Beach area! I booked 8/4. Two hours before, she cancelled due to weather (it never rained). I booked the next day (8/5). Four hours before, she cancelled due to illness. Again, no replacement was available. My daughter and grandkids went home on 8/7/25 and NO PICTURES WERE TAKEN!! We had bought new coordinated outfits and everything. Needless to say, I was livid! I have no idea what kind of work they do, but it seems to me April needs to have more than one photographer available per area. VERY disappointed! read more

Used April's photobooth for our wedding. She came earlier then the time I had requested which was fine. She just couldn't set up during the ceremony. Pictures and print out turned out good. Big downside was she was drinking wine during her service. The wine was included for her nor did she ask. It was only for the guest at the wedding. There was no agreement for her to be drinking while working. She would had the wine up hidden on the floor. read more

We booked April's Photography for our wedding reception. The photobooth was definitely a highlight of the event. Everyone had a great time popping in and out of the house to get their pictures taken, always making sure to share them with others as soon as they got the prints. The prints made for a perfect party favor, and being able to access and look through them online later was great. The person running the booth (forgot his name, sorry) was very professional, had everything set up and ready to go before anyone arrived, and was great at being invisible in the background when no help was needed, and right there on the spot as soon as anyone had a question or needed any help. April herself was great at keeping in touch and promptly responding to any questions that I had. I hired April's Photobooth for my mother in law's 80th birthday party. I went with the 3 hours package that came with set up, print outs, props and attendant. Our entire family enjoyed the photobooth! I wasn't sure how some of the older guests would feel but they were all talking about it! And the kids had so much fun. I think they made are in a permanent line for the 3 hours. Afterwards, I requested copies of all the prints and April promptly emailed me all of them. Phillip was our attendant and he was courteous, professional and friendly. I messed up on the timing and needed him to arrive earlier than expected. I really appreciate it that he was able to arrive earlier on such short notice. Will definitely use them again for our next big family event. read more

I hired April Photography to have a photo booth at my wedding. I was EXTREMELY dissapointed. The attendant was sitting on the ground for most of the time. The props were from the dollar star and were falling apart. Where they set up there was a beautiful view of the water and sunset but people were walking behind there so there are people in the back of every photo. They didn't save me any of the hard copies of any of the photos and I had to reach out to even get a usb drive of my photos because she wasn't honoring her contract of giving me a "disk" because she changed her computer system. I would never recommend them . There night photos are very blurry and look terrible also. The attendant didn't engage any of the guests so I got only a few photos. read more

I enjoyed working with April to book a photo booth while planning my wedding. Her communication is top notch, which is so helpful during the planning process. We spoke on the phone once so she knew what we were looking for and responded promptly to all of my emails that had any questions. However, during that time she never discussed background color (which there were options for upon looking back) or asked if we would like any special printing done on the print outs. While the photo booth didn't end up being what my fiancé and I were expecting (it wasn't an automated camera but rather someone snapping two pictures of each group and then printing them out in batches) the end result got us what we were looking for: some wedding entertainment for our guests and an easy way to make a photo book guestbook. I felt fine with all of this given that April honored a promotional pricing for us when we booked but I would have been incredibly disappointed and frustrated if I had paid full price for this service. read more

We hired April's Photography to host an "open air" photo booth at our wedding. They did a great job. Before the event, April was very responsive and answered all of our questions via email quickly. At the wedding, we had a small window of time for the booth (during reception), so they were asked to arrive when things were already underway, set up during dinner, and be available during the reception. They showed up when asked, provided tons of fun props, and printed out all the photos quickly for guests to take home. They even let us custom-create a border, which printed beautifully around all of the portraits. Finally, we received a link to a digital copy of the photos the next day, which was great! Our only concern was that some shots weren't centered, so peoples' heads were cut off by the photo border sometimes when it printed out. This isn't a problem on our digital copies, though! read more

I bought a Groupon for engagement photos and emailed April at the beginning of August to schedule a session. Initially she was very prompt and we were able to pick a date (tomorrow, actually) and a location & said she'd touch base with me a few days beforehand to finalize a meeting place. I emailed her this morning to verify the appointment and finalize the meeting spot, only to have her tell me "I meant to email you sooner, I had someone hire me to photograph a Bar Mitzvah tomorrow." I figured maybe it was a simple booking error on her part, but when she clarified, she said the other event was a last minute booking. Pretty appalling that a photographer decides to cancel an appointment for a higher paying gig and didn't even have the courtesy to contact the client to let them know. If she had been the one to contact me and let me know of the mistake more than 24 hours in advance, it would be one thing. But now I have to risk being charged for a hair & makeup appointment that I have to cancel last minute. Extremely unprofessional and I won't be rescheduling my session. read more

I hired Aprils Photography for photobooth service at my wedding. I was collecting price quotes for many Photobooth's in Seattle and found a Groupon deal for Aprils photography. I lucked out! (Honestly I was a little worried that I would be sacrificing quality for the deal I got). The photo quality was great, the photographer had great energy and the props were a lot of fun! All my guests loved them! They came and setup during dinner, and I didn't even notice ... just all of a sudden it was all set up and ready to go! We hired Aprils Photograhy to do my daughter's wedding. Although I appreciated Aprils prompt responses and answers to my many many questions, at the end of the day I wasn't very impressed at all with the Photo Booth. The backdrop look like a hung white sheet and there was a guy snapping three photos And printing them out. I paid $100 for a guestbook which had been explained to me as being "real nice" with embellishments and different markers and pens. What we got was a $28.00 scrapbook that was probably bought on sale somewhere at Joanns or Michael's, a black sharpie and a .99 cent glue stick and a few sheets of scrapbooking paper! I was expecting a bit more of a quality set up. The Photograhy guy was prompt but didn't speak much. I had to move the guestbook to another area and encouraged the guest to write things and post the pictures myself. When he first setup, he had the guestbook all the way on the other side of the table where they guess didn't have clear access after the pictures were taken and printed. It seems like the guest had a decent time with it; however I was expecting something more and it just fell short for me. read more
