I always order the "Menu degustazione" - a set menu with starters, pasta/gnocchi, secondi/ meat platter, cheese /dessert - coffee. The amount of dishes has varied from about 5-11 and it has always been enough food for everyone. In case you're not hungry you can also pick any of the other menus or single dishes - but it's more fun not knowing what the next plate will consist of. The food served is typical for the region and the menu tends to change from year to year. The wine accompanying the menu has always been delicious. The staff is attentive and service minded. If you are into trying the local Ligurian food then this place is strongly recommended.

But let me put it this way. My son who is notoriously picky and has been a pain in the butt about food the whole trip went absolutely crazy for everything he ate here. He loved it to the point of giddiness. And mom and dad are calling this the meal of a lifetime. I mean I don't know for sure if there's better pizza in Italy. Maybe there is. If there is, take me to it. Because at this moment this is the best pizza I've put in my mouth. My wife swooned over the gnocchi in rosesse sauce and my son was in heaven over his ravioli. I tried both and the flavors are simply perfect. I may spend the rest of my life trying to top this meal. Or maybe I shouldn't and just accept that I found paradise for a foodie.
