In the past my wife's been represented by a well known high priced Portland lawyer who in my opinion, took advantage of my wife and her family by running up years worth of legal services because they could as emotions ran high as they often do in divorce. Sadly the legal services bill didn't match the results and ended up being a lot of wasted money (and emotions). But what leads me to write this review is because at the point in the conversation where other lawyers would have sought a retainer (that I was perfectly willing to pay), Jill's focus wasn't on that and instead of collecting a $5k retainer and doing it for us (IDK what her real retainer is for the record) and offered the guidance on what we needed to do and how she suggested going about it.
