The installers arrived on time and were somehow able to install both washer and dryer into our tiny "closet" utility room, which previously had a stacker type of washer/dryer from 1985. We have had no trouble at all with either unit - both installed perfectly and running beautifully (every day since purchase!). The installers were professional and personable, and we could tell this work was something they had a lot of experience with. This past week we were helped on the showroom floor by Deb, who advised us on our options replacing our microwave, gave us the pluses and minuses of various models, and we picked the perfect one for us. Again, the installers (different pair of guys) were on time, professional, friendly, and only took a few minutes to install - amazing! Both pairs of installers called beforehand to give us the heads-up, which we really appreciate. We will return for a new fridge and range soon!

Before the pandemic, I had been using Roam Mobility, which provided convenient talk, text, and data services aimed at Canadians who travel to the States. When the border between the two countries was shut down to travellers, Roam Mobility folded. During this trip, I needed to get a SIM to get talk, text, and data services. While in Rochester, I decided to check out my old local Best Buy and see if I could find something that fit my needs. Luckily, there are a number of cell phone providers that don't lock you into plans. I found a SIM with a provider that I liked and decided to purchase it. I did some browsing around while I was here. The store's exterior looks the same. As expected, I didn't recognize a thing inside. I loved that there were accessories from my Google Pixel 4a 5G phone at this store. It also had a rower that looked so fancy with a screen and tons of workout routine options. The checkout is off to the left when you first walk into the store. I had a nice man help me pay for my SIM. It was straightforward tapping with my credit card to complete my purchase. Later on that evening, I activated my SIM online. It was easy with the provider that I went with. Some US portals are difficult for Canadians to enter credit card information with a Canadian address. I do have a workaround. You can register your credit card, but need to enter the numbers in your postal code as the first three digits in the ZIP code field, followed by two zeroes. It has worked for me on a few US-based apps, such as BPme for gas. However, if the portal is a stickler for selecting a state from the dropdown options, this workaround may not work well. I am pleased that I can stay connected with my new SIM and prepaid plan that's flexible and suits my needs. It was definitely easier to compare and contrast what SIMs were available at this Best Buy. I went in to set up an appointment to get some speakers installed. Upon arrival the first time I was instructed to go to the back of the store where the speakers were and someone would be right there to help, I waited and waited and waited for someone to come help and about 20 minutes later I believe HIS/HIM/THEY ( SAGE) was able to begin the process of setting up an appointment to come get the speakers installed. I told them the speakers I wanted installed but they would have to order them as they did not have any at the moment. I set up the appointment for today at 6. I specifically asked if there was anything I needed to do before then and Sage told me no. So I arrived today about 45 minutes early to make sure I was not late. Upon arrival i walked up to a young man I believe his name was Mohammed and he told me to pull around back and he would open the door so I could pull my car in. I sat and sat and sat and the door never opened grrrrrr. I park my car and go back inside and approach him and he was "can i help you." I was like "yea man you were supposed to open the door I have been sitting outside waiting for you and his was response was "my bad". (absolutely useless individual) I sit down and the guy who is going to install the speakers comes up to me and asks if I have the speakers which my reply was "No, i was told they would be here with everything I need to get these installed" Well my friends guess what none of the parts i needed were there of course! I took off work, rescheduled my life, to be jerked around by a bunch of incompetent idiots! He arrived on-time, was efficient and less expensive than HG quoted, showed me the main problem (the screen on the vent outlet had 3/4" dense lint), but cleaned the rest of the duct as well.
