This co has been assigned to our refrigerator 2 times now (GE Cafe line). BOTH times the man that comes (says he is the owner), he gets cocky and unacceptably rude. This last visit he started taking things out of my fridge and says, "first off, these things don't belong in here"!!! I said, "wait! I just bought those last night because I knew you were coming today, and it's yogurt so pretty sure it does". I didn't even get a chance to explain I have freezer bags etc in the fridge to keep the fridge temp as cool as possible. He calls GE as he normally would, gets a man on the phone after this conversation, says he's going to his truck to talk to him. I give him credit...he knocked on the door when he was done with GE, said I would like a reboot asked if we could start over. BUT then tells me how the GE guy agreed that I was the rude one..Nice reboot dude!!! I literally had to ask the guy to leave my home. Please do not use this company. It seems to be a mom and pop place. Jeff took my freezer part first week of November. I've called, "still not in" is the response. I just called again and Jeff tells me maybe in boxes I just got. Okay, well Jeff, can you call me as soon as you find it so we can schedule. This should be a zero star review. In the two weeks leading up to my warranty repair service, I called several times to see if I could get a better time frame. 8a.m. to 4 p.m. was quite the time frame. The appointment was for Friday, on Wednesday I left another message asking for a better time because I need to know how to adjust my work schedule. Again no answer. I took the whole day off, waited and waited and waited some more. The guy NEVER showed. He never called, never emailed, nothing. By Monday the manufacturer cancelled my warranty repair claim through him at my request and sent someone from over an hour away. I've never seen such horrible business sense and customer neglect. Do not use this company. If the manufacturer tells you to schedule service with them, don't bother as it's a waste of your time. I plan to notify the BBB yet. read more

If I could give a big fat ZERO stars, I would! Scheduled an appointment through GE Service because machine is out of warranty and was purchased by my 85 year old mother when she lived 200 miles away in Milwaukee (she now lives with me in the middle of nowhere in North Central Wisconsin). GE gave me the name of the company and phone number and a GE confirmation number. I called at 10:30 a.m. today (day of scheduled appointment) to find out when he would be here, as we were told it would be in the morning, and we would receive a phone call with the time and we had not heard anything. Of course, I got voice mail, so I left a message. It's now 2 p.m., and no call back and no show. I called and left another voice mail message. I also called GE and was advised that the servicer (the repair guy) called and canceled the appointment and said it was a "customer cancelation!" That's an outright LIE! He canceled my appointment for service and didn't even have the decency to call and tell me that he was not going to come and fix my mom's washing machine! If you want HORRIBLE customer service and NO CALLS and CANCELED appointments, go ahead and call this guy! Otherwise, find someone else! read more

Don't bother. I had the experience of waiting for a part for my washer for over 2 months. He will not call you back even if you leave a voice-mail, by the time he did call me back he didn't have a clue what part I needed or what to order. 2 months at a laundromat for nothing, save yourself the hassle. read more

Washer/dryer repair done right by a nice guy, reasonably priced. If I understand directly they don't carry new appliances and so not trying to sell new appliances. Recently I called them with a question not related to the work they did but rather could our old washer be contributing to a plumbing problem. The lady who helped me was patient and helpful even though she certainly realized that they weren't making a dime from the call. read more

As long as you are not dealing with a home warranty issue this guy is really good and inexpensive . He will fix it in the cheapest way possible. They will likely have to come twice if parts are needed (the usual case). We have used them 4 times over the years and I am very happy with their service. When I called the number, they did't answer with Appliance Service, so it can be a little confusing. After that, it was simple to request an appointment to have someone stop by to look at our appliances - we had a problem with our dishwasher (didn't run) and freezer (leaked water). The service tech came out and repaired both. He was knowledgeable, friendly, polite and respectful... and we thought the cost was reasonable. If we need any appliances repaired in the future, they'll be my first call. read more

I had the misfortune of dealing with these guys 3 times now. My home warranty company keeps selecting them for my claims. I wish they wouldn't because their level of "service" is below sub-standard. Each time I put in a claim with my home warranty folks (AHS), they send out an e-mail to the folks at Appliance Service. Apparently, only one guy (the repair man) checks their e-mail once a day, in the morning. However, even when he receives your repair request, they do not call to schedule an appointment. Each claim I had to call them! I usually wait several days to see if they will call, then I call. Each time I get the same old lady that tells me she knows nothing about e-mails and will take a massage for the repair man. It is a painfully slow process. It will take 1-3 weeks for that man to return my call. When he finally shows up, you better hope he has the parts or can fix your issue that visit, because getting him back is another 1-3 weeks (with call after call to get him to return). Do yourself a favor, and avoid this company is you can. I wish I had a choice. I have complained about Appliance Service to my home warranty folks. Apparently it didn't help because my latest claim is going through them again.... UGH!!!! Two positive things: 1) The repairman is very friendly (though smells of smoke badly), and 2) The repairman does know his stuff! He quickly diagnosis the issue, and correctly. I do a lot of business with Appliance Service, since I have residential rentals. It is a mother and son business. The mother is in her later years so I have to be patient with her. The son, Jeff, who is the person that comes out to do the repair really knows his stuff. He can diagnose a problem very quickly and tell me whether or not it is worth repairing. This family business has been the only appliance repair company that has stood the test of the time in the central wis area. read more

I have nothing but the best experiences with this company. I've had Jeff at my home and my place of business, we have never waited for a return call and was taken care of in an orderly and timely fashion. He is reasonably priced and as far as my experiences go very quick to take care of the problems. read more

I scheduled an appointment through the Whirlpool website for Saturday from 8-4. I waited all day and no one showed. I called multiple times Saturday along with the Whirlpool customer service rep. No answer. When I followed up with them Monday morning there was no apology and stated they don't work on the weekends. read more
