Examples: My 80+ year old mother contacted Ihling's because her 25+ year old laundry washer stopped working. Rich Ihling said the problem was a simple switch which he ordered and installed for a fraction of the price it would have cost for a new washer. He could have easily said that the washer was too old and then sold her a new one. He didn't. The washer is working great! I updated my kitchen in 2007 and used Ihling's for every appliance. Because they also do repairs, they were able to educate me as to which brands need to be fixed more than others. Almost 20 years later and I am still happy with my choices.
