This took place in February or March 2026, and it's now early May, so unfortunately I don't remember the repairman's name, as I would definitely give him kudos for his workmanship & pleasant demeanor. The repairman who came out was very efficient & candid about what had happened & what needed to be done. It ended up being a particular fuse that sat immediately behind the control panel had failed, & it just required replacement. There was an entire litany of things that could've gone wrong with it, & he could've quoted me on several of those things, replaced them & charged me exorbitantly for the parts & labor. But... he did not. He was very honest with me & even educated me a little while he checked other parts ( mainly a different fuse on the back of the oven ) to make sure they were functional before he left. I most certainly would use Adam's Appliance Repair. Unfortunately for Yelp, I won't be needing their services in seeking an appliance repair service company - I've found who I'm sticking with hereafter!!

Neither of the appliances are working properly. The dishwasher, as a matter of fact, wouldn't close properly after he 'fixed' the top rack. and it leaked after his supposed repairs which it had never done previously. The dishwasher is relatively new. His solution for the problem was to advise me to haul the dishwasher to his shop for him to further 'tinker' with it to see if he could find out what was wrong. Based on my experience with Mr. Sellers I have to conclude that he doesn't know his business very well, nor does he know much about customer service and service outcomes. I'd advise staying far away from this appliance service. * * * UPDATE: After another service did indeed confirm (in 5 minutes) that Mr. Sellers' work was the cause of the dishwasher problem and the other service fixed it...I contacted Mr. Sellers. To his credit after a little contentious conversation he agreed to refund his labor charge on the dishwasher.

Being that it happened on a Saturday and the July 4th weekend, I was not optimistic to find anyone. But I was desperate so I requested some estimates on Yelp. I immediately heard back from several businesses. Unfortunately, they're either out of my service area or closed for the weekend until the 5th. I was about to give up, that's when I saw John's message. I asked if they had any reviews and he sent me their Google page (you should check it out). Anyway, he was able to come out early Sunday morning at 9 AM to diagnose. John quickly found the issue - a malfunctioning cooling fan. The part needed to be replaced so unfortunately, we have to wait for it. But, he defrosted the coils in the back of the fridge, and that temporarily fixed the cooling issue so we can wait for the part to arrive. For our visit, he charged a $75 service fee, which was provided to me upfront. Definitely check them out.

He then ordered the parts he believed were needed (all before he arrived and no charge to me until they were installed). He suggested he come for the service appointment once the part arrived rather than have to make two trips which was very much appreciated as it saved me time. When he came it took him a few minutes to figure out the problem. He installed our new part and was done. Best of all he was a very nice and trustworthy which was very comforting as I know not all of the companies in this industry are. I felt he was honest, gave a fair price (and stayed within the range he gave me over the phone). What a wonderful feeling to find an appliance repair company that is knowledgeable, trustworthy and prompt. I plan to go back to Mark's Appliance for all my future repair needs! Highly recommended!
