We had the opportunity to enroll our children at AppleTree Academy in August of 2017. At the time, they were 3 months old and 2 years old, and we have seen them flourish physically, educationally and socially in the past 18 months. We are always welcomed with a warm hello and the staff know our children by name, even if they have not had them in class. At all age levels, the children have various programs to participate in throughout their school day, such as, sign language, dance and Spanish. We are impressed daily with the balanced menus offered for snack and meals. As parents, it is such a wonderful feeling for both of our children to be excited to spend the day in someone else's care. We have been with Appletree for over 4 years, with 3 children. We have seen everything from newborn to preschool, as well as varying personalities among our children. The staff is always making the hallways colorful, fun, and relevant. Their annual trunk or treat is one of our favorite events and the children love seeing so many friends and teachers there! As a parent it's touching seeing so many teachers investing in our kids after hours. They have a great menu, diverse classrooms, and academically my daughter entered Kindergarten reading well with very high district test scores. I'm newer to the area. So I visited and researched most of the daycares in the Peoria area (I'm a very picky gal). My last visit was to AppleTree. I instantly knew in my head and heart that we found the right place. We were thrilled when we found out they had the space and schedule to accommodate us. We LOVE AppleTree! We have been with Appletree since 2014 when our oldest daughter was just 6 weeks old. She is now in kindergarten but our younger daughter is still at Appletree and will keep going there until she moves onto kindergarten. The staff is amazing and my girls are so super smart! My oldest was so prepared for kindergarten and she is doing amazing with her reading, writing and spelling. My two year old recognizes her letters, numbers, shapes, colors and asks so many questions. My child attended Appletree's preschool for two years, and several of their summer programs. The whole staff was friendly and professional and the center is the cleanest I've seen. Prior to going, we tried two other local daycare centers, and three different summer programs (including one at a very expensive private school) and none could hold a candle to Appletree. With my experience with Apple tree so far, it is one of the best day care around in the Dunlap area. My daughter went for 4 years till she graduated to Kindergarten. My son started going there when he was 1 year old & he love it so much. The staff is amazing. Hanna is wonderful person, very understanding & flexible. Very clean and well maintained. Appletree is the very best childcare in the greater Peoria area. They staff is outstanding, caring and truly love my children. The curriculum starts in the Infant Nursery. My children started doing art projects at 3 months old. Also, Appletree's Pre-K program greatly prepared my son for Kindergarten. AppleTree has wonderful teachers and staff who are always kind and helpful. My daughter had a tough transition and they've be so patient with her and I through it all. They do so many fun things with the children including dance and yoga, which my daughter really enjoys. I'm thankful we found such a wonderful preschool. read more

Appletree has been amazing for our family! From baby through preschool. The baby room has great communication from bottles through weaning.
