If an "Immediate Care" requires an appointment, then it is no longer an Immediate care and should CHANGE THE BUSINESS SIGN on the front of their building. My husband cut a finger and obviously needed a few stitches (he ended up getting 4 stitches and a Big Bandaid from the local ER (who gave excellent care, by the way). But we were turned away because he didn't have an appointment and there were THREE PEOPLE only, in the waiting room. Everyone is USING COVID as an EXCUSE for not providing or providing poor care. I went here to get tested and the receptionist asked me why I had no copay at the end of the year and then the doctor and nurses made me cry and diagnosed me with a massive depressive disorder because they brought up something bad that happened to me. Then they said it'd be 4 days to get my results it's been a week and a half and I still haven't heard anything I called up there the mailbox was full and can't take new messages. This was my sons second or third visit, so not a new patient. I signed in my son (4 years old) online for a 9:00 appointment. We arrived 10 minutes prior to the appointment like it suggests in the text message. We wait approximately 20 minutes after arriving, got called into a room with a nurse. The nurse was very kind to my son, and decided we needed to take a strep and flu swap. He is covered in a red rash and has a sore throat. The nurse walks out with the samples....and about 5-10 minutes later one of the ladies from the front desk walks into the room. This was confusing of course, but she came in to "inform" me that the provider that was supposed to be there today actually isn't there but another provider who does not accept Tricare. So this visit would have to be converted to a personal pay visit and I owe $130. I was confused, because again we got checked in and told we were clear to proceed with the visit. I informed the lady we couldn't pay that right now, especially with Christmas less than two weeks away. She said I had to because I saw the provider, which I then informed her I had NOT seen the provider yet. She said in that case I could leave, (without knowing my sons results). Honestly, I could see an honest mistake, but it's how I was talked to and treated at this point that is unacceptable for a healthcare facility. YOU made a mistake, and then tried to make a patient pay for an otherwise free visit AFTER taking swabs and starting testing on my child. Not okay. So we went to the other urgent care in town and finally got the confirmation that my son indeed, has strep. I hope this is will be addressed with the employee. My son had to be taken to another facility, wait again, get tested again while he was feeling awful (with strep!). read more

Scheduled an appointment for 1pm. Arrived 15 minutes prior, was told that there was a 1 hour wait, even with a scheduled appointment. I believe that over booking to increase profits should be illegal, the patient is the one who suffers. The reason appointments are made is some people have other responsibilities. If appointments are made they should be kept, by both parties. I will never come here again nor will I recommend this business. read more

Went in on Monday and saw Teresa. She was wonderful. After seeing my regular dr. The week prior, I was not feeling any better. Decided to go in and boy am I glad I did. Teresa fixed me right up with a shot, AND I DON'T EVEN LIKE INJECTIONS, and some added meds for 4 days. Also prescribed what I was needing, a breathing machine. By that afternoon I was feeling better, the next morning a lot better. Continuing to improve thanks to Teresa. Wish she was in a practice, but I'll just keep going back to see her if need. When it come to drug testing for jobs I've never been limited on how much water I can drink. The fact that you get 2 small styrofoam cups half empty is incredibly ridiculous. The workers are rude and not very helpful with anything. This place is worthless. read more

I went to Apple care on Saturday because I left work on Friday with 101 temperature. When I arrived I met with the nurse practitioner who stated she felt like I had a virus or that I had eaten something wrong. And was just going to send me home I explain to her I felt like I needed a Covid test since the place I work for requires them when you start having symptoms and then I would need a note from her stating I can come back to work. I felt like reluctantly she gave me a Covid test and said you have to be out 2 to 5 days until the results get back what's the results get back I'll just write a note to come back to work. And stated again you just have a virus. I was so sick Saturday Sunday and Monday horrible horrible sickTuesday I woke up feeling much better so I actually went and ran an errand well it didn't take me long to realize I wasn't better I physically could not walk through the store. I called AppleCare and my results still have not come in later on the afternoon I got an email with the results of sars detected. So I called AppleCare to confirm that detected meant positive they said I was positive so I ask for some advice on what I should do and they said well if you have any emergency symptoms go to the hospital well now it's not real helpful I'm not an idiot I was hoping for some advice on how to deal with the symptoms but definitely didn't get it from them today I get a call from AppleCare telling me they got my results in and I said well that's funny you got them in yesterday and we've already talked about them do you not remember that? Again no real help no real advice no real care I will never step foot in Apple care again. read more

I can't believe the actual ignorance of the people working in this company. I was assigned to the statesboro AppleCare for pre-employment screenings specifically for a HepB and MMR shot. I was told they were out of stock at the statesboro facility. So they told me to go to the pooler facility. Which is TOTALLY fine I get it completely. But I had been to the pooler facility previously. I had an appointment scheduled on my eScreen to be checked in at 6:00 pm. I showed up at 5:00 pm and they made me wait an hour and a half to tell me my eScreen had expired. So today when I went they did the exact same thing, so not only did I have to wait another hour and a half in the lobby I had to waste a full tank of gas to drive from Sylvania Georgia to statesboro ga, to pooler ga, and all the way back again. Twice in two weeks. It was the same staff so they knew when the eScreen expired. So they turned away a customer(me) because of their ignorance causing me to be delayed for my employment and losing money for their company. Because my job is now sending me to a completely different company to get my screenings. ALSO today I had an appointment for 5pm and they couldn't even tell me something was wrong until 630. So irresponsible and a waste of time. 40 dollars worth of gas and another 3 days delayed to start work. They also called people back that got there after me that didn't even have appointments and continued to constantly put me off until they couldn't anymore. So thank you AppleCare for your great service and convenience. Don't go here. It's garbage. read more
