Arrived about 6;45 pm on a Monday night. Very few vehicles in the parking lot. A few people at the bar. Only two other tables had people sat. We never had our server come to our table. Got up and left. This is not the first time we have been disappointed in this location in the past couple of years. Not sure how or why they are still open. read more

on 5/28/2026 we decided to go to dinner at Applebee, our server Adam was amazing he was courteous and very respectful towards my 4 year old granddaughter. I'm an Army Veteran and I've never had such great service by a young man as I did tonigh. The bartender Cole was also amazing he was singing along to the songs that my daughter put on for the 4 year old. This was the most memorable and most interactive service I've had. Hopefully these young men get recognition for the stellar above and beyond customer servic. Thank you gentlemen. read more

Atleast they let me bring in my just a sip drinks. When my husband order his meal he asked for the burger to plain, just meat & buns. They came out with the burger, it had cheese on it. He is very lactose intolerant (severely allergic) not the best of hearing their customers. read more

There was a hair in my food. Managment was quick to help and server was very nice. Probably won't be back to this location as this is not the first time I was disappointed here. read more

0 stars Can in, stood @ door for 7 minutes. Bartender closest employee to door, never acknowledged me. Someone finally came over & asked how many? Once @ table, sat there for 10 minutes until I called manager on the phone. My server had been by my table several times, but never acknowledged me. The waiter expected a tip after the disrespect. He had 3 other tables, east, west & north of mine. Meal was free, but I won't be back. I should have gone to Cane's. read more

We came for dinner. Burgers were actually good. Ribeye steak was fair. One of us got medium rare and it was grisly. Grilled chicken breast was simple and nothing special. For a Saturday night, it was not busy even with a bar. Dining tables needed attention. Ours was so wobbly that a drink would not easily spill by any movement. We heard an employees break dishes 4 different times! Our server didn't seem happy the whole time. This is our last visit here. read more

We went in to celebrate Veteran's Day for my family. Our server took our order for our drinks promptly and we saw where at times she was overwhelmed with the crowd. But, that's where our meal started getting bad. We ordered our appetizer and then our meal came out after waiting for about 30 minutes. When we got our meal, we weren't given any silverware. We told another server we didn't get our appetizer and she said she would talk to our server and get our silverware. After a 10 minute wait for yet another server to bring us out silverware and napkins. While we were waiting, we noticed our food came out barely warm and overcooked. On my plate, I was supposed to get coleslaw and it was a scant 2 tablespoons. When we were finally able to ear, the coleslaw was hot, not cold. My husband's chicken was overcooked as well as my shrimp. Our server didn't even check on us until one caught her attention. We told her about missing our appetizer and she barely apologized and wanted to put the order in to take home. We all agreed after this unimpressive meal to skip it. She hurriedly gave us our check with still no apology. We paid and left most of our meals uneaten. We had to go somewhere else to get something edible. Our cons-census is we will bypass Applebee's for something edible. Thank goodness we weren't charged for that mistake. read more

Good food, great service and wonderful people , what more could you ask for. Plus our favorite bacon cheeseburger is still on sale with fries and a drink. I get the coleslaw instead of the fries. read more

Slow food delivery is an understatement. Arrived 1130am for unlimited wings. Took 60 minutes before I got my order and the another 25 min to get just 5 extra wings. I figured by the time I finish lunch I'll be dinner time. Left without finishing lunch, was too pissed off. Had bad experience 2 years ago, bad experience today again. I'm done, never again. They deserve to be the next chain out of business. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!! read more

I've been going to Applebees and ordering the same thing for years. When I travel, it's an easy fall-back to comfort food because I know it tastes good and I won't have to think about the menu much. This is my first time at this location. Seating was readily available, although the restaurant was definitely hopping. Servers seemed fairly attentive - although, I sat at the bar and was well-attended-to by the bartender. Ordered the same thing as always -- Oriental Salad with Grilled Chicken and delivery time was reasonably quick. Unfortunately, the dressing had too much salt -- so the sweet/savory Oriental dressing wasn't well balanced. Since the dressing is entirely covering the salad it took me a while to ascertain -- was it the dressing, or the chicken. But, isn't the end, I concluded it was the dressing. I have to assume this recipe is standardized - since this is a franchise. It may actually come pre-made...and if so, then that means the salt was coming from somewhere else. Regardless, it didn't taste as good as I had remembered and my 3-star rating reflects the situation. If it had tasted less salty, I would have provided a 4th star as all other variables were "as expected". read more

I was disappointed by the food. Customer service was okay. Good place to just get a chicken sandwich and a burger. I ordered Salmon and fried shrimp. Salmon did not have any flavor and was rubbery. Fried shrimp had too much breading. Margarita was good. Seems like it had gone downhill. read more

Someone visiting and looking for food , I would not recommend this place at all. I visited many restaurants thru out the country and this one was the worst from them all. Service was slow even with barely anyone inside. Table wasn't wiped down or cleaned all the way from the previous customers. Drinks took some time to arrive. Food quality and the taste was the worst part from it all. We had the wrong orders delivered and the taste was 1 star. read more

We went to Applebees and the food was so dry and at room temperature. The food took over almost 2 hours to come out. And our waitress rarely came to check up on us. The place was nice but don't come. Had to talk to the manager. The place was so packed and and so under staffed. read more

I understand that keeping restaurants staffed lately has been very difficult, but wow... We are in Wichita for the weekend for a soccer tournament and our options were limited for dinner on Saturday evening. We found an Applebee's close to the airport and managed to arrive around 10:30 pm. The restaurant closes at midnight and they were not busy at all. We stood at the front for about 10 minutes before anybody bothered to acknowledge us. We waited for another 15 minutes before the host came back and took our drink and appetizer order. We were told that our server was "busy" (even though we could see him talking to one table, leave, and chat with someone else that worked there) and would be taken care of shortly. We sat for another 15 minutes before the same host approached us again and had to find our server just to order our food. By the time we finally received our drinks and appetizers, we lost our appetites. We waited again just to get someone's attention so we could get our check. I get that it can be annoying when people come in close to closing time, but we sat near the bar and watched guests who arrived after us receive far better service than we ever had. This was the most ridiculous and frustrating experience I have ever had at a restaurant. read more

Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. I had 3 of their $1 Zombie promotional drinks and it was amazingly good. Definitely worth that $1. My husband and I did the dinner for 2 for $25. We go both got the mac and cheese with honey pepper chicken strips. It was really good. Our appetizer was the spinach and artichoke dip. Our kids chowed down in the chips and salsa. We let our two youngest kids split the cheese pizza kids meal. We added an extra side kick for only .99. They got the strawberries and yogurt. They raced about it. Our oldest got the Mac and cheese with strawberries and yogurt. She loved her meal too. Kids meals are reasonably priced as well at 1.99. Our kids drank water with their meals. We will definitely go back. Keep those promo drinks going, Applebee's. read more

The selection of half priced appetizers is misleading sometimes. We ordered boneless chicken wings, then I saw a brisket quesadilla, so I ordered it. Oops! Turns out it wasn't half priced. Too late, I saw the card with the list. I already ate it, it was good, so I'm not gonna complain. The atmosphere was fun, if a little worn around the edges. People must have had a long day. They made effort to smile and serve to please. Kudos to the wait staff. read more

A Pleasant Experience We had a pleasant experience at this Applebees. The food overall was good and we had a time to visit that was unrushed. The server was attentive to our desires and needs. Maybe, because the restaurant was not busy yet. I give it a 5 Star as overall it was a good experience. The only negative was that I ordered the small steak medium-well and it was done on the well side of the medium well, but it was not worth giving it less than the a Five Star rating. read more

I only give this restaurant one star because there is not an option for zero. Our visit included many of the same issues that others listed...unfortunately we did not read the reviews first. We had to ask to get drink service, to place our food order, to get silverware and napkins and plates for the appetizers. The food was horrible. I sent back my French dip because the aujus was cold and the bread was brick hard stale. My wife's wonton tacos were also stale and smothered in their syrup making them nearly inedible. Our son's pasta had almost no sauce. We never saw drink refills until we asked and they showed up only after we asked a second time. We also sent back the silverware because it was not clean with food remnants from the previous customers. The server looked like he just crawled out of bed and smelled nearly the same. Absolutely an unbelievable experience that appears to be the norm. It is unfortunate that there are so many similar reviews without any resolutions. The Thrive Restaurant Group definitely has no focus or concern for happy customers. read more

Friday night Food- over cooked steak, but all was ok, gave us 12 bucks off the meal which was nice but not asked for. Staff- serve safe training has been forgotten. Mgr behind the bar actually put hand inside scooner to make drink then used tings to pick up lime, servers grabbing glasses by the rims of peoples drinks, tall gentleman with very bushy black hair scratched his scalp then grabbed plates from a runner to put in his table. Bartender had fake nails and rings all over her hands touching dirty plates, push trash down in the can, grabbed fruit from inside dirty cups, then rinsed her hands less then 30 sec without taking the jewelry off. Managemt was standing there and did nothing. Host- told us and two other couples 20 min wait and sat all of us within 5 minutes. Clearly no one running the floor or the flow for the kitchen. The place seamed disorderly in many aspects. Disappointed and won't be back this one... Sorry, had to get this out considering management is involved and are to blame! read more

Ordered online and that sent it to us through Doordash. When we got it, the food was cold, all the french fries were missing from every order, and one of the burgers was made wrong. When I called the restraunt, they tried to make it sound like the driver's fault that the cooks messed up our food order, and wanted the driver to come out and fix their mistake for FREE, and wouldn't refund anything because "payment was made through Doordash". Infuriating how they shuck off all responsibility and just kinda shrug, like IDGAF! Truly sloppy, and making me to not ever want to order through them again! read more

My friend and I came to the Maple and Ridge location, for lunch on May 30th, 2023. A few tables down from us, a manager, or appeared to be, went up to a table of two young ladies. A confrontation went on with one of the young ladies. The manager was rude, and we overheard one of the young lady being FIRED -on the spot. This 'employee' was there on her own time, and was NOT brought back to the office, or a private area. I find this very unprofessional, rude and NOT what we want to see, and overhear a manager spouting off to this 'employee' in question. The entire issue was very distasteful. would treat the employees there, This unprofessionalism is not what we cared to see. We Will not be going back--ever. I have also heard rumors of drug use by the employees, and have been overheard 'bragging' of drug use at this location. I suggest a deep look into this matter. The entire company has much to lose if all conversations are to come to light. read more

food was delicious. service was amazing. And the restaurant was really clean and friendly.

This Applebee's location needs flooring update BAD. It's very dirty in there leaving one to question what else may be sub par. I had the oriental chicken wrap, which the first half was good but the 2nd was over crispy. My granddaughter had the steak which was lacking seasoning. She asked for it well done and half was medium. The mashed potatoes were cold, broccoli prepared well. My husband had the bourbon chicken and shrimp and he said it was ok. The place got busy with a large party sitting near us. The server would bring their drinks in an above average voice saying WATER, who had TEA, etc. I guess overall dining experience is almost like a cross between a diner and fast food. read more

Good was ok both times I went. I have NEVER been an Applebee's fan, but this location is open really late. Went here the first time last week out of convenience and the food and service were good. Service was actually better than good it was great. The won ton tacos are interesting. I had the chicken over Mac n cheese and it was a ton of food. I didn't even eat a quarter of what they brought. If you need somewhere that's open late, they are a good option. Second time we came I had the chopped chicken salad. It was very average. Tortilla soup was also good. We had the strangely good won ton chicken tacos again. Service was great both times. The second time we were here it was really crowded. read more

It's Applebees's, so you pretty much know what you're getting, but I swear their prices have gone up and the food has gone down. I would never pick this place, buy my friend did, so I stuck to the good ole riblets. Not as good as I remember, but not bad. Nuff said. read more

I wish I was able to give zero stars. I understand being short staffed, and Johnny the waiter did the best he could considering. But Caleb came and asked up how our meals were, when we were honest he actually said "Well it's Applebee's, what do you expect?".. my family and I were shocked that an employee would trash their own company. The food was rough to say the least, and again I understand being understaffed but good lord. Im not certain we will come back to this Applebee's again.
