Sometimes they can even talk you through the problem on the phone so it doesnt cost you any money (just the phone call) other times if its a little worse and i need to take my tower in they can normally have it sorted in less than 24 hrs, I have even waited while they fixed the problem! Its not just repairs they deal with, its sales and upgrades too. The staff there really seem to know what they are doing and give you advice and safety tips all the time, I have come away before with loads of anti virus software added free of charge. I recommend all my friends to go there and they all rave about them as well. They also deal with some photography like canvas printing and adding pictures to disks for you. The staff are very willing, but perhaps somewhat too willing to sell you soemthing, they can get quite pushy. Towards the end of the day this is just an annoyance and i found myself wanting to leave just to get away from the pushy salesman, certainly did not incline me to buy. However, they did know their stuff and the store was tidy with a nice layout.

Simply an amazing level of service!…read more Datafixer is a company that cares greatly about the customer: protecting and preserving their data whilst providing the highest standard of repair work, which is both timely and of great value. I used Datafixer after one of the big UK PC repair and retailers lazily wiped everything from my laptop in order to conduct a simple keyboard repair and clean-up. The same retailer then provided absolutely no assistance in recovering the data they had wiped, despite my pleas, stating it was simply not possible. The owner of Datafixer was able to recover all of this precious information, including all the photo's ever taken of my young child, in a matter of hours. I could not recommend Datafixer highly enough and wouldn't trust anyone else to repair my laptop ever again.

I think what is disappointing is that only certain types of people feel they can come in here, and the outside is not very inviting. It mainly caters for younger people and I would say it is quite a specialised kind of place. Overall it is not a place I would usually go to, simply because it does not have what I am looking for.
