I had the absolute pleasure of being helped by Mr. Bola today at Apple Store in Brent Cross in London, U.K., and I can't say enough good things about him. Despite managing a full table of about 7 people, he remained calm, kind, and incredibly patient throughout the entire experience. He went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of--contacting the manager, walking me through all my options, and ensuring I felt supported every step of the way. What really stood out was not just his professionalism, but his genuine care. Even while multitasking and attending to everyone else, he made sure each person felt heard. I must admit, most times I just come in here to 'hang around'. I've only ever purchased an iPhone cover and used the Genius Bar (for a repair), so not sure if they really get any value out of my custom (hee hee). Average high street sized store, with a good range of protective covers (although the main stock caters for iPhone 4). I smashed my phone getting out of a car a while back - No insurance (ouch!). Twas a painful experience on my pocket, but they took the edge off by not making me wait, wait, wait for the repair (think it was about 30 mins). Is it just me or do you feel like hugging the staff at the Apple stores? They are just so nice. Even when you don't buy they don't care cos they don't make any commission. You say you want time to think about it and they say sure, any questions pop back in. WoW. It's amazing; they email you a receipt in case you lose your original one for a warranty claim. When I got my iphone the guy opened all the different cases for me to decide which one I wanted. Apple is text book customer service, heck they go beyond it. read more

Apple Store - Computers Near Me - London, XGL

Went in today at around 6pm looking for help since my Mac laptop had been compromised due to online fraud (a company pretending to be Mac care.- I needed some help because my iPhone wasn't working). I walked up to a blonde girl with curly hair, blue eyes and a nose ring. She was completely useless about it, like fraud wasn't a problem at all. When I showed her the laptop and put it down on the table she yelled "no don't put it there". As I look quite young, she was dismissing me as if nothing had happened and was so rude to me. She told me if I wanted to see a technician, but it was fully booked and couldn't do anything. All I wanted to do is to check if my laptop was still connected to the fraudsters account..... There's not much here other than a bunch of tables, loads of computers, tablets and phones, and lots of customers and staff. The customer service is good if you can find someone to help you. The electronics are pricey and the gadgetry somewhat dated. No touch screen computers! People seem to really like their kit though. read more

This is not a review of the store itself but of the products, once the shine has worn off the iPhone is not even a pretty good phone, just a mediocre one at that. Its saving grace is also its biggest weakness the iTunes application. I have more than one computer that I use and I have an iPod and another iPhone (older model unlocked from South Africa) I have to have a full back up of all my stuff on a separate hard drive or the damn iTunes always removes all my information of one or the other of the phones or the iPod, which is so damn annoying I end up using my SONY p990i for my calls! Which is defeating the point of having the iPhone in the first place. Oh Yes as for the stores, they are pretty much the same everywhere. read more

I called the Apple store Brent Cross with an iPhone 5 sync problem with iTunes. They said they had technical staff there that could help me, but only if I went into the store. They said the only other option was to be put through to Apple technical support, with a long wait. Why don't they just make the technical support staff in the shop available to answer questions?? It could be something that could be resolved over the phone without me having to travel half way across London to do. I tried every other source on the internet to try and resolve this problem too. I have called the tech support three times this morning and have had to give up waiting each time. Pathetic to say the least from such a huge multinational company. read more

The manger Eric Pessel was terrible. My wife has cancer and she brought her phone in without an appointment as she had made an appointment last week and this was the replacement phone they gave her at that time. They said the fix this time was a ten minute job but the manager Eric Pessel, after hearing that the phone was crucial for my wife so she could reach me in an emergency, told her she should go home and use her landline - it was 3pm and we offered to have me wait on her behalf until store close at 8pm so we could get it fixed that day. Are you kidding? I couldn't believe my ears. Have complained about him to apple head of retail, but let's see if they listen. My experience of this store has always been poor and he may be the reason why. read more

My ipad battery failed on Saturday, I waited there for 2 1:2 hours for appt then seen by a very helpful tech staff member who immediately offered replacement ipad. Not asked for, I actually expected to have to buy new one, Then spent 11/2 hours at home on phone to tech dept due to incorrect setting up of the failed ipad by Apple tech when first purchased. Back to Brent X on Sunday where dealt with by an unpleasant female tech who was clearly angry that I was being given a new ipad. I at NO point asked for or expected that! I was OFFERED IT. She was unpleasant to the Tech who had offered it, What happens to my old ipad? She was aggressive, unhelpful, unsympathetic, told me to go home and talk to Apple Support as problems downloading from Cloud. I did some it myself before 2 hours on phone will brilliant Tech. But I have lost all my calendars, all my photos, all my emails as Brent X uploaded on to Cloud failed twice, Brent X , you need to explain customer service to this woman. read more

Been trying to get through to apple regarding my smashed iPhone screen. Hopeless, useless. Robot asking same questions say you have your imei number... yes I have the number, more music... say you have your imei number,,,, yes I have the number, more music, say you have your imei number... yes I have the number.. more music and so on and so on.. rang complaints explained problem she just put the phone down on me.. now ringing again been hanging for fifteen minutes.. thankfully can request more music..... This is the worst place to go for help if any of your gadgets are not working. I went there 9 March with a battery charging problem with IPAD and they couldn't be bothered to help, the attendant I had was only interested in giving an appointment 4 days away. Even if it's a minor issue they'll book you an engineer appointment 4 days away as they are to lazy to help. Went over to the Convent Garden branch and was given an appointment the next day, came home went online and sorted the problem myself. Will never use Brent Cross Apple again, complete timewasters, only interested in creating unnecessary engineer appointments. read more

I experienced the Worst service at this Store when I went to purchase my Iphone 4, 2 weeks after it was released. I had phoned in advanced to pick up the Iphone 4 and the women on the phone said they had them in stock and to come in and pick one up. When I reached the store that day, having eventually found a member of staff (who was walking around looking lost or trying to find something to do) I asked to buy a iphone. She insisted she had just sold the last one seconds ago and did not have any more in stock,(even though other people where buying them around me) Aaarrggghh...I then asked to speak with the manager, and she said, there is no manager, (WHAT !!!) feeling annoyed, I then left the store and decided to call the store again, I got straight through to the woman i had first spoken to and expained the situation, she then said to come back in to the store and she would arrange a phone for me. I then went back in, and managed to get the phone. I found the shop floor staff member useless and would'nt buy from that store again. read more
