This place is designed for go karts and supermotos, however, the turns aren't too tight for a…read moresport bike. It's a lot closer than Willow Springs and cheaper. Even Nikki Hayden can be seen there making track records on his supermoto. Admission is only $30, and they just require that you wear proper attire--but there are no equipment checks like at other race tracks. You can even camp there over night. But, bring your own food and water as it's several miles from a grocery store etc.

I've been to the balcony and prefer Grange for it's technical turns which is perfect for underpowered cars to monsters hp cars. The owner, Jim, is very nice and delivers pizzas for $15 a pie. The AGP was seriously one of the most fun experiences of my riding life. I have heard word that…read morethis years was not as good as years past but since it was my first race of any sort i had a blast. This event spans an entire weekend. there is a race for any experience level no matter how pro or beginner you may be. The excitement in the air is high while spectators can watch from just about any part of the race course which typically is about 11 miles long extending into open desert. In the main arena area there is a small moto section, a Triple jump, and the famous mud jump. I wont lie, riders are only in the arena are about 20-30 seconds, but they're in a hurry. This is a cold start event where the riders start the race when the banner drops and have to kick start there bikes and go. When the race first starts it can be a bit nerve racking when you're racing top speed next to 100+ other riders on a course not wider then a 2 lane road. Once in the open desert people start to find their groove and disperse a bit. By a bit I mean hope not to get lapped. The race usually takes about an hour for the last guy to make his way across the finish line. There is a vendors area where racers and spectators can shop, eat and hang out. Camping is first come first serve so get there early. FYI: don't push yourself beyond your limits. while racing there were a bunch of people getting helicoptered out due to crashing and pushing themselves to hard.

April informs you what's needed and answers any questions you may have. April was super helpful and supportive when my husband started and later myself. I took some of Dan's training classes and it helped me a great deal with my riding. Everyone at the track has been super supportive and kind. The volunteers are great and I very much appreciate each and every one of them. The track is in great condition and even has a real gate for the striders. Dan does bike repairs for a fee if you need anything while at the track.

For being outside everything seems taken care of and well maintained. It's absolutely worth it to get points over a single day package if you live locally. The points never expire! We did $100 worth of points, shared it between 5 of us going on rides multiple times and we still had 200 points left for the arcade. The single day package is like $35 per person but is only good for the day. The rides are the best part! The racetrack: Slow, very slow. It was only us on the track which made it fun but my 4 year old was the first one to say it was too slow lol. The bumper boats: Loads of fun!! Never ending water to squirt at your friends and family, how can you say no? You will smell like chlorine for the rest of the day but it was worth it. Michael Jackson Slide: Still not sure on the name and I wish they had instructions or staff to explain but we figured it out. It's a really high start but fun once you get past the height. Thor's Chariot: You see this ride at fairs. Similar to Tea Cups that spin but one sided and you can't control the spin as much. You have to lean your weight at just the right moment. Fun! Twisted Torso: My 4 year olds favorite ride!! It goes up, spins around a little and comes back down a bit fast. It's not too bad so little kids can ride it but my 15 year old was not a fan lol. We had to leave after some time in the arcade so we didn't get to try the other rides. Now the reason for 3 stars: Arcade & Snack bar. Snack bar: Good food but the line took forever! They had only 2 people working the prize counter, snacks, and the line where you purchase points and passes. So anytime we needed to get something, standing in line. Arcade: Honestly pointless. Most of the games were broken and didn't even have a sign on them. You'd swipe your card and nothing would happen. There was no one around to help. Many games had no sound or the buttons didn't respond correctly. It just made the arcade a bit of a joke. Overall lots of fun and worth the cost. We've got left over points that never expire so we'll be back to use them!
