They stated it would be ready in about 2 and 1/2 hours and they were on time. When I got back they had all the paperwork done with my insurance company a quick signature and I was away with my new windshield. After a quick chat, and explaining to her that I was at work and couldn't bring it in but I was also heading to NB and really wanted this fixed before I left, she said she'd send someone to pick up my car. I was skeptical but less than 10 minutes later the Service Manager arrived at my office to pick -up my car. He took my car away, fixed the crack, and brought it back to me within 90 minutes. Once he arrived he showed me the work, explained everything he did to fix it, we signed the paperwork and he let me know about the lifetime warranty. He left his card in case I had any questions and told me not to hesitate to call. It was SO easy and SO quick that I will be recommending Speedy Glass to EVERYONE I know. I was so excited to learn they could do all the repairs for me at a fraction of the costs from my windows company. I called a few other companies to see how much their costs were but Speedy Auto Glass not only beat the other prices but they did it so quickly. My big window was repaired the next morning, the curio glass was repaired after that AND it was only $15 with tax to fix. The small bedroom window is on order and it won't cost me very much for Speedy Auto Glass to put in the new glass and repair it for me. I am to happy and amazed that I found the perfect place with very friendly and helpful service personal along with VERY cheap reasonable prices for all my window repairs. Who has the best service and warranty? Those were the questions I had when I needed to replace the windshield in my 2006 Kia Sportage. I contacted 9 businesses in HRM requesting quotes for my vehicle. No word of a lie, the prices ranged from $260 all the way to up $500, plus taxes! The higher-end price quotes came from Apple and Speedy. Of those 9 businesses, only 4 discussed using the existing window trim and when (if needed) they would use new trim. The prices I received for new trim were an additional $60-100. Of all the glass repair/replace businesses I contacted, only two provided the high level of customer service over the phone I took as a first indicator. and Alpine Auto Glass in Dartmouth topped that list. They were very polite on the phone, answered questions, and even educated me further on glass repair, mentioned it would take roughly 2 hours to complete, why the trim doesn't always need to be replaced, and most importantly how much it would cost to replace my windshield. They quoted me a price that included the new windshield + new trim (just in case they couldn't use the existing trim). Their quoted price came in at the lowest of all 9 businesses, and included the same warranty coverage as the name-brand glass repair shops. I also learned that glass repair businesses in HRM all buy their windshields from the exact same supplier in Burnside (Dartmouth) so it shows how much of a markup some of businesses place on the windshields. I normally do not post reviews of businesses, but the level of honesty and professionalism I received from Alpine inclined me to share my experience. In the end, it took 1.5 hours from the moment I stepped into Alpine Auto Glass until I was driving out of their garage bay doors with the new windshield installed, they were able to use the existing trim, and the total bill came in exactly as they estimated without any surprises (i.e. shop supplies, new trim, etc). I highly recommend Alpine Auto Glass, and have already told my coworkers and friends about them. I won't waste my time next time calling around for the best price because Alpine Auto Glass went above and beyond all of my expectations.

When I picked up my car I was told that all the repairs had been done, they allowed me to drive away in a vehicle that was later confirmed to be extremely unsafe, I drove my children around for over a month thinking my car was safe to drive in. Thank goodness for a car dealership and insurance company that backed me up otherwise I would be out alot of money to fix the repairs that weren't fixed originally by Carstar.
