The facilities are quite old and crying for renovation. Many things are just broken (like shampoo holders). The water temperature in the hot pool is nowhere near hot, you can sit there for a half an hour with a problem. The verdict: there are not too many non-gay saunas in Brisbane and if you are desperate and you can't find another place to go, Apollo's day spa might be ok for you, but don't expect anything decent. read more

I love japanese/korean onsens! I haven't seen another one in Brisbane (but i've only been here 18months) great menu, good price. Parking is a little bit of a hassle. I had the body scrub and as I believe another yelper mentioned, it was in the public bath space, which was a little uncomfortable. I would come again for the onsen. Four stars only because it wasnt the best body scrub I've ever had. I got an excellent deal. $99 for body scrub and massage or facial. The body scrub only lasted 15 minutes and was done in the bathing room in front of everyone which i thought was unusual. The massage was wonderful. Finally, i added a Brazilian which was one of the best ones i have had. It was also one of the fastest ones which is a huge plus. The woman was absolutely talented she did all my service. Unfortunately i forget her name. The baths are wonderful. I had no idea what to expect. There is a large room with three standing showers and six or so souring showers, a sauna, and two large baths (think hot tub). One was hot (105 F) and one was colder (70 F). I thought it might be odd since everyone is naked in the bathing room, but it wasn't at all. I will defibrillator be back! read more

Very unfriendly staff and one of the lady is not trusting customer and doubting what I was explain when I was overcharged paying by my card from early bird price. However she gave me a discount voucher for the next time so I came back again today after that incident. But when I was leaving and saying thank you, the same lady was at the front and she obviously changed her voice and face expression when she realised it was me saying thank you. I'm REALLY NOT HAPPY and never coming back again anymore. Terrible customer service. read more
