This school actually used to be a movie theater decades ago they've done a really good job turning into a beauty school. I want to say it's been around maybe at least 15 years if not more. When I walked in, I was greeted with a smiling receptionist asking my name and then getting me to fill some stuff out while I waited. I visited the bathroom and got me some water. They also offer tea I believe. If you're going to get a facial, they usually give you a robe and slippers, but since it was just brow lamination, we didn't get any of that. They did bring us to a waiting area that was dark and had peaceful and relaxing music on. While I was sitting there, a young blonde came in and said my name and I said that was me and she led me down the hallway into a room with a massage table I laid on. She did do a patch test first to make sure I wouldn't be allergic to the ingredients to get my lamination done. After the past test was over, she began her magic. She told me she will be graduating in June. I am going to try to make an appointment to get a facial before she graduates. She was very personable and professional The one thing I find weird is you cannot add a tip when you're checking out you have to either give them cash or cash app or Venmo I was able to give her cash. The receptionist called her back upfront. And they do have a teacher come check out before and after your service. I will definitely be back here sooner than later I love that there is plenty of parking here.

The bad news- it's hit or miss, as it depends on the student you are working with. This visit, I was very fortunate to have Emily as my stylist. She provided an outstanding experience, includingwash, special hair mask and blowout. She was efficient and professional. Sadly, as with most students, they graduate and move on the new ventures. Emily is on her way to The Collective. Although the lobby (product show room) and reception area are quite nice, the ambiance in the salon are in need of a serious update. Additionally, many students are sitting around doing "nothing" (talking, on phones, etc) which also takes away from a typical salon experience. Imagine carting your entire family to four or five recitals to watch your child dance for two minutes per show? Hours of unnecessary travel and sit around and wait because of their inability to schedule. Don't forget, you'll need to take off work and check your child out of school for rehearsals. Oh, and you'll need to buy tickets to all these different shows for everyone at $20 each, including even your dancer! Simply not an enjoyable, family-centered experience. to conclude a year of class fees in the thousands.

My person even said she'd never even had a pedi cure before and she doesn't even know how to paint her own nails. It took well over 2 hours for a pedicure and the nail polish was lumpy and messy. They also don't have driers so your nails are bound to mess up. Now the young lady who did our nails did a great job! She has a bright future in beauty. Service wise these are some of the nicest and most patient students ever. However, the service and prices are not worth the hours you lose and the messy job you get while trying to save a few bucks. I once got a blowout and keratin treatment here. It looked like I stuck my finger in a light socket. Such frizz and puffiness. This school does have great hours and clean bathrooms. They open past 7 most nights.

My daughter is in the 2 1/2 Movement to music class is about 45 minutes long and the begin and end on time. I believe this is just the right amount of time due to our little ones attention span. Parents can sit behind the two-way mirror to observe their child during class. Students received a sticker after class. We will probably sign up for fall classes, because we enjoy it so much. I will say this, the summer classes filled up fast. It's about 8 or 9 kids in my daughters class which is a good amount. The price of the summer classes are very reasonable as well class began on June 3rd and ends August 3rd. They do take off the week of the 4th of July. The Dance Foundation is such a warm and inviting place!!!
