Wow! I was so impressed with not only the food that I ordered but also the store. I wish I lived here but I find myself sheltering from Hurricane Milton. I shopped while I waited for my order. They had Galab Jamun in the store. I brought 4 home. I heated two in the microwave for 30 seconds which was perfect. They had an ever so slight hint of cardamom. I found some frozen Sri Lankan dish that I love. I ordered some curried eggplant which was delicious. Would definitely order again. Also had samosas. 3 for $5.99. They too were very good but small. I'd rather get two bigger ones for that price so I could get more filling, which was good. I bought quite a few things. They also had Persian groceries. I'm definitely going back on my way back to Tampa. I'll definitely bring some Galab Juman home. read more

Generous portion of chicken buriyani which was quite good. Served with a portion of yoghurt raita. Watch for spice level we ordered medium 3/6 but found it spicy. Place is small but good. Service is a bit slow but that is because there is one person working the whole food service and check out. She was really nice just a lot to handle for one person. Food was good. I ordered the chili chicken and the mixed grill with naan. The chili chicken was not what o expected as typically a chili chicken is a spicy soy based sauce and fried at high heat with spices. This one was more like a standard tomato base and had a sweetness to it. Good but not what I was expecting. The mixed grill was good. The best part was the kabobs and the tandoori tikkas. The tandoori bone in chicken was way over cooked and dry but still had good flavor. So I rated this place 4 because even with slight issues with food it was all tasty and well priced. For example the mixed grill was like $14 and had 4 kabobs, a whole tikka grill and almost half a tandoori chicken. So you can't beat that deal. read more

This is one of the few Pakistani/Indian food places in the Panama City, FL area. The food is delicious, and different from most of the food places in town we've been to. The owner and his wife are more than happy to introduce customers to his unique cuisine, there aren't many restaurants like this one in a small town like Panama City, FL. My favorite main courses are the steamed fish curry and the Goat curry. Favorite drinks are the Masala Chai tea and Kashmiri Chai tea. Also check out the Sunday brunch special that comes with Chai tea, it's great! There is also an Asian/international grocery store within the building where you can buy Indian/Asian/Meditteranean/Middle Eastern food items. We like to shop at the grocery store while waiting for our food to get ready. Worst Indian food ever. If you are short staffed, pls close the store or concentrate on the quality of the food even if it takes more time. Don't just keep taking orders and let people wait for hours just to get crappy food. Be honest about your situation. Let people know what it's gonna take to get food from you. I ordered 1 chkn 65 and 1 Biryani to go. The lady at the register said 20 mins. I waited for 45mins and saw that ppl who came after me to dine in were being served but no sign of my order. Upon asking why I did not get my order first, she said maybe because you came after them and if you want to cancel your order, she would. And when I said it was me before them and it's been 45mins and you said 20 mins, she replied "that's what they want Biryanime to tell you" and upon requesting to speak to the manager, she said, he wouldn't come out for anyone. Well, the most fun part now. Chkn 65 was uncooked, not at all marinated , Biryanichunks of soya+chkn without Salt or any masala. Biryani was boiled rice with same uncooked chkn 65 chunks. Had dinner there last night, it was excellent and very reasonably priced. I had a paneer dish, my husband had sheesh kabob, and we shared some garlic naan. Everything was freshly made and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. After dinner we stocked up on paneer, naan, and Indian simmer sauces and spices, which are cheaper than at the local grocery chains.
