My pick was the soft shelled crab taco. However, there is no where to wash your hands (needed with seafood) let alone a toilet. You are directed to the local pub if you need to go. The menu is split into brekkie, sandwich & wraps, burgers, from the garden, from the chef and drinks (coffee, tea, milk shakes, smoothies, organic juices and soft drinks). - Sweet potato chips ($7.50 AUD large) - these were excellent. Crispy and addictive. Great portion that was enough for four of us. Although, it was a fight for the last few chips. - Smoked salmon wrap ($14.00 AUD) - avocado salsa, tomato, Spanish onion, baby spinach and house aioli. This was my cousin's order. She doesn't like avocado so she got this on the side for us to add to our burgers. Win. - Moroccan lamb burger ($14.00 AUD) - house yoghurt, avocado salsa, mix leaf, cucumber, melted halloumi and mint dressing. Very tender, fresh and flavourful. When you rock up you can order a small bowl for $15 which comes with your choice of poke, one side, and black rice or if you're hungry you can order a large for $20 which comes with two choices of poke, one side, and black rice. The poke varies from spicy tuna, salmon, kingfish, and others all with different marinades and ingredients. Super fresh and tasty af....sides vary from seaweed salad, potato salad, coleslaw, kim chi and more. I got the large with spicy tuna (ahi) and the Aloha way (salmon) which is the classic along with potato salad. This will definitely fill you up and I plan on coming back. Real healthy and real tasty...can't ask for more.

We were told that on Sundays, they made other poke bowls which weren't on the menu. It sounded like they were using their leftover ingredients to put together what they could. We chose 1 of the 2 bowls that was available, and then told that this was actually not available either as what was left was needed for an existing order. Service was poor. Staff were disorganised - there were 2 waitresses behind the counter and one told us that she could describe the food to us but couldn't actually take our order - for some unknown reason only 1 staff could do this. We ordered some poke and vegetables which were on display at the counter. It took them 15 mins to put on a plate (there were only 6 guests in the cafe and some were eating when we came in). It turns out they had forgotten about our order. A staff approached us and asked if we had ordered yet. While we were eating, I heard the staff shout out to eachother in the kitchen describing what ingredients they had and working out a poke bowl combination to put together - supporting my theory that they were using leftovers.

The picture on the menu, which was loaded with seafood, looked nothing like the reality of the stew-- which honestly wouldn't have been a problem if the flavors didn't feel so off to me. Upon first spoonful, you just get hit with the taste of garlic (which is odd to me because I love tofu stew but never notice the garlic flavor of the ones I get back in LA's Koreatown). Flavors were forgettable and the soup was simply bland with a side of garlic. If you're used to BCD Tofu House quality stew, forget it. You're better off ordering something else from the menu-- although my friend also remarked her soup was nothing special either. I wouldn't have left a review like this if it weren't for the prices. As soon as I opened the menu, I noticed that a lot of the stew/soup/dishes were similar prices. That might not seem odd to some, but as someone that grew up around authentic Korean food, I can tell you you're being scammed. There is no world in which you should be paying $20+ for a kimchi pancake (even in AUD). Sullungtang was also extremely overpriced for what it is. Charging for extra side dishes, too? Crazy. Take your money elsewhere. I refuse to believe this is the most authentic Korean food you will find in Sydney's proclaimed Koreatown.
