PEOPLE SAY CANADA HAS GOOD HEALTHCARE BUT THIS OFFICE IS SINGLE HANDEDLY THE PROOF THAT THE CLAIM…read moreOF GOOD CANADIAN HEALTHCARE IS A LIE. THIS OFFICE GIVES HEALTHCARE A BAD NAME. THE WORST OFFICE IN THE DAMN CITY!! Do NOT GO HERE. SPEAKING FOR 3 people and from EXPERIENCE. This will be long so strap in. 1. My doctor, Dr. Golden, disappeared for 8 EIGHT months. When asking receptionist where she was, why I couldn't contact her or get appointments they just said she's away. 8 months and many patients chatting to eachother, we find out that none of us were notified of her absence. When confronting the office about it they feigned ignorance saying "well we couldn't possibly call all of you" even though we all have EMAILS on file where they have previously sent out mass emails before... but sure. She then came back for a year and is now quitting. All of us who came to this office for a female doctor are all given a male doctor, even though the practice has other female doctors, and told we cannot change doctors. Speaking again to the other women, we were all mortified. But again the office throws their hands in the air and says oh well too bad. 2. PRESCRIPTION REFILLS NEVER FILLED THIS IS A CONSTANT ISSUE. I cannot even list the amount of times that I have had to get the pharmacist to give me an advance because they won't fill the request EVEN AFTER STATING THEY RECIEVED THE REQUEST. it doesn't matter if you requested it 3 weeks, two weeks, one week, or one day in advance. They recieve the request and just hold on to it and never get it filled. And this is again FROM EXPERIENCE. Today is Jan 16th. I got shoppers to send them a request for a refill on DEC 28. No reply. Then again on Jan 6. No reply. When I called the office on Jan 14 they CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAD RECEIVED THE REQUESTS. The non-chalant receptionist confirms it saying "oh yeah we received them I can see that" and when asking WHEN will they be filled, instead of giving me a date or telling me she will get that sorted now, SHE RECOMMENDS THAT I ASK MY PHARMACY FOR AN ADVANCE (which is an extra 15$). I, many other patients of this practice, and the pharmacist all take issue with this. WHY DO I HAVE A DOCTOR THEN? How long does it take to fill a prescription that I have been on and am stable on for 6 years??? It's NOT the pharmacy's job to be my doctor when I already have one, even though the one I have is awful. I will NEVER recommend this practice or anyone who works there. My aunt who has cancer utilized this family practice and all she has gotten is disappointment. I will find a way to report this practice and I will NEVER stop sharing the multitude of awful, rude, passive aggressive, and just plain non-answers I have received from this office. And then they have the nerve to ask for more money. It's hilarious. If anyone who works in this office I'd reading this, you should be ashamed. Ashamed of where you work, ashamed of the others you work with, and ashamed that the care you are supposed to be giving patients is no where near to adequate.

Don't let the look of this place, which may appear slightly ugly or outdated to some fool you with…read morethe lighting and wall colours. And if you have to take transit to this location, it may be a little awkward to get to depending on your home or work location. But don't let either scare you from coming to this place. As well, for a place that accepts OHIP coverage, it is much better than you would expect compared to places that only take insurance or private pay. I came here as a prescription from my family doctor as a result of an injured left shoulder, and within a couple of sessions after my initial assessment and paper work, as well as doing the prescribed exercises at home at the daily frequency recommended, I had already been able to cut the relatively high dose of painkillers by 1/2 to 2/3, and have been able to do most household tasks and play instruments for a short time (up to 30 minutes) with little to no pain or discomfort, which before treatment was physically painful to wash dishes, cook on the stove, eat with a fork or spoon, or cut food with a knife. They also seem somewhat to quite knowledgeable about musician's problems, while most I've heard mainly deal with injuries as a result of accidents or sports. You rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes from your scheduled appointment, usually if you are early, they take you right on your appointment time. The physiotherapists are thorough in teaching you the exercises, correcting you at teach session when you are doing it wrong but in a gentle manner, they are thorough in your initial assessment, and are very friendly and sociable while professional at the same time. I have already recommended them to friends and family!
