On my first visit he prescribed pain medicine for 2 weeks. He would not refill until I saw him again. He told me the next visit he would file my insurance and I would not have to pay another $250. When I arrived, the whole scenario changed. He was requiring me to pay another $250 dollars or he would not see me. He, and his staff lied to me. I am reporting him to the Kansas State Medical Board. I would be cautious if you decide to seem him. It is a Scam and he was very rude to me.

The doctors are the best in the area, and if you have a sports injury, this would be the place to go. They serve quite a few area athletes. The problem, though, is that it then becomes hard to get an appointment. I booked an appointment two weeks out, and even then, I didn't see the doctor I made the appointment with. I saw one of his associates. But it didn't really matter because everybody seemed qualified and on top of their games. It's convenient that they are partnered with the Olathe Medical System, so major scans, like MRI's, are done across the street at the hospital, as are surgeries.

At first they were great but by they…read moreend Dr. Garcia had run off most of the good doctors and because he owns it or did he thought he could treat you anyway he wanted. For example once he cut me down on my medication and didn't tell me he was even going to do it. When I looked at the script I thought he had just made a mistake. I just wanted to know what was going on instead of calmly telling me what was going on he yelled so loud everyone in the lobby heard him and he said if you don't like you can walk out the door. I have high functioning autism and he caused me to start crying hysterically. He is a very rude man and that wasn't the only time he was loud and rude. From a botched fusion surgery where they pinched a nerve leading to my left leg which has caused me to develop severe left side neuropathy to them sending me home after another surgery with a severe headache and severe projectile vomiting instead of dealing with the issue or transferring me to a hospital. 24 hours after I was released I was in the emergency room with such vertigo and severe headache and projectile vomiting that it took them hours to get it under control. The problem: the Headache and pain doctor did a blood patch wrong and injected way too much fluid/blood into my spine causing too much pressure on my spinal nerves and cord. They had to remove the excess cerebrospinal fluid afterwards my headache was much better the vertigo was gone and the vomiting started to subside. It took about 4 days before I finally felt much better and could be released from hospital. So because of the headache and pain center I spent 6 days in the hospital. Once we went to see Dr Iodice we tried to get the xrays from the previous "dr" we saw and come to find out he up and left town and gave No one access to his records. We were pretty upset and needless to say felt as if this was how the next experience might be. The first interaction here was when I called to get a general idea of what to expect billing wise. Debbie, the lady at front desk, answered. It was close to close so I didn't want to keep her long but she answered all my questions and offered to call my insurance provider to make sure we knew exactly what we'd be getting into. I happily obliged and hung up, thinking, it's almost 7, she'll call me back tomorrow. I got a call back, at about 720, after close, with my insurance info! Immediately I felt that we may have found a good one. Naturally I told them about our previous experience when we met Dr Iodice. He assured us that he could help my husband get back to a better state without charging us necessarily for things. The first visit we met with the Dr and he did a full exam on my husband including some stress tests on the body (wall sitting and various others) and monitoring how he is walking/favoring anything. The whole time he's calling various things out (over my head but all medical jargon) to an assistant who is noting everything for his chart. It really was unreal to see how much he could get just from his experience and without having to do dozens of xrays!! We were starting to feel pretty confident about this guy! We started with seeing him 2 times/week for 4 weeks and then backed down to 1 and now he's seeing him once every other week. I asked him today how he feels about coming here and nearly all his problems don't exist anymore. He feels better day to day and has more energy. His tailbone still hurts but we're almost 100% sure he broke it 2 years ago so we're still actively working on that. I can honestly say we really appreciate everything they've done to help us. And Debbie at the front always is SO kind and makes you feel like she's known you forever. We're very happy here and I'm even considering scheduling an appointment (I can't stand the sound of the bones popping, makes me want to throw up lol!) But that's really saying something.
