This is decent place to park you car for airport travel. However, this is not to be used for the main airport, but for the private planes that use the CMH airport for their runway and regulatory saftey measures. read more

About half-full on a weekday at noon, so I was able to find a spot on the side I wanted. Short walk to the restaurant I was visiting. Wide lanes, fair-sized spaces. Easy payment. A bit expensive, $5 for a couple of hours, but the ease and convenience made it worth it. I'll keep it in mind for next time I'm down this way. As bad as parking garages can be, this one was a fairly pleasant experience.

The Book Loft is such a treat, too! All in all, a magical neighborhood and great place to visit in Columbus.

We had our dog with us so we did not do an abundance of walking around. From what I saw, there were no places that welcomed pets in the businesses. It makes sense and it was no biggie, I just did not spend as much time as I would have if pets were welcome. I stopped into what I thought was a deli but more like a restaurant with a counter, hoping to purchase goodies for home. There are several stores for shopping, which were fun to browse. I only purchased some chocolates in a candy store, which apparently were made in house. I definitely want to visit here again with more research.

If you've ever visited a larger city, you understand. Anyhoo, this parking garage is located right in the heart of the neighborhood, on the corner of Hubbard Ave and High St. It offers hourly rates that are pretty reasonable given the other options in the area. A few things to note. 1) They have a couple EV charging stations. 2) Hold on to your ticket because if you lose it, you'll be paying a hefty $65 dollars to get your car out. 3) You can pay either at the gate or before you get back in your car at a kiosk. Long story short, don't avoid this area of town because everyone says parking is a nightmare. You just need to know where to look... and Yelp can help with that!

Even the elevator area was really nice and not only was it air-conditioned, but it actually kind of smelled nice. I don't think I've ever been in a parking garage elevator or stairwell that didn't smell like cooked pee, so this was a really nice change of pace. Well done, Greater Columbus Convention Center Parking Garage. Well done.

The nearby McDonalds has been torn down, so restroom options are basically to go park and walk into the airport or drive out to a local business. This needs to be like a rest stop. Restrooms and food/drink options would be nice. Charging for cars and 'phones would be a bonus, too. You'll need to exit the lot and head towards the airport exit away from the terminal. Just stay in the left lane and you'll head back to the passenger terminal for easy pick up at the curbside.

I gave the male parking attendant $20 and hope that he could break it. He had $15 in bills back. Nice! I parked. I had enough time to back into the spot. It's my tip for you. When you are going to an event, back into a parking spot. It's easier when it comes time to leave. I visited my car four times during the evening. The first time was to park. My second time was fetching my concert ticket. My third time was putting my purse in my car, as it was larger than what was permitted at the venue. The last time was after the show. Needless to say, I know the start of the second floor of this garage well. My car was safe during nearly five hours that it was parked here. It was busy pulling out of the lot, but everyone was patient and friendly. I let a minivan from Indiana back out of a spot and drive off.
