The only answer to: where should I live if I move to Columbus? A walkable, historic neighborhood…read morecomplete with beautiful, Victorian-style homes, Schiller Park, and plenty of coffee shops and top-notch restaurants. Filled with cobblestone streets and brick sidewalks, flower/plant marts, and Halloween + Holiday events--don't miss the Christmas Market on South 3rd come December. I recommend: Stauff's or Fox in the Snow for coffee, Winan's for chocolates/sweet treats, Chapman's, Lindey's, or Sycamore for a nice dinner out, and Antiques on High for drinks in a 70s-style cocktail lounge. The Book Loft is such a treat, too! All in all, a magical neighborhood and great place to visit in Columbus.

What a cute area in Ohio! I stumbled upon this area when searching for things to do on Yelp. When I…read morewas planning to visit, I did not have any particular place in mind to visit; I just planning to stroll and pop into places if they looked enticing. We had our dog with us so we did not do an abundance of walking around. From what I saw, there were no places that welcomed pets in the businesses. It makes sense and it was no biggie, I just did not spend as much time as I would have if pets were welcome. I stopped into what I thought was a deli but more like a restaurant with a counter, hoping to purchase goodies for home. There are several stores for shopping, which were fun to browse. I only purchased some chocolates in a candy store, which apparently were made in house. I definitely want to visit here again with more research.

I've always looked at this garage sideways, because the entrances look a little... shady? They…read morejust... go under a building and there's very little sign of the garage's presence other than the entrances. It's a little weird. Turns out, it's really nice, as parking garages go. I went to see a show at the Ohio Theatre and this was the closest parking option. It's cheap ($5 event parking is at a premium downtown), pretty well lit, and still looks reasonably clean. The ceiling is pretty low, so I'd check the limit on a taller car, but my little sedan did just fine. The highway patrol guard is a nice bonus when you're going to something downtown by yourself, I admit. From the theater, there's one entrance right at State and High, but if there's a line to get down (likely when a show lets out), there's more stairs on High facing the Senate building and another pay machine and stairs at Broad and High.

Went to see a play at the Ohio Theater and parking was $5 whoo hoo! The man collecting money was…read morefriendly and helpful! This garage is easy to navigate and just across the street from the Ohio theater. We did have to walk up some stairs to get to the theater but it was not bad. Now if you can't walk up stairs then this might not be work for you because they are a bit steep. I'm not sure where the handicap exit was or if it is available. They do have several electric car charging parking spots if need that also.

Parking garage right next to (and attached by 2nd floor skywalk) to LeVeque Hotel…read more IMPORTANT: "Per day" max rates restart at 4am. So if you stay 1 night at the hotel, you'll end up paying the max-rate $25 for the day you checked in AND as many hours as it was until you checked out in the morning. So our "one night" hotel stay ended up being about $50 for a single night. It's possibly the most money-grabbing parking ramp set up I've seen before, and I've seen it on a few Short North garages now. This is where I saw LeVeque valet attendants bringing cars as well. It's less than a block's walk to the front door of the hotel. There don't appear to be any attendants. There's a covered/indoor skywalk on the 2nd floor that goes between LeVeque and the garage. LeVeque does not verify parking for cheaper rates; they are what they are (I uploaded a December 2023 prices photo). Garage is clean and functional. Elevator and stairs are a little darker and older than I'd like for my safety, and I wouldn't feel super comfortable walking around by myself late at night in here. It was functional for the daytime. The majority of the lower floors are reserved parking, but there are a few unreserved spots. There's the single pay terminal on the first floor. I would NOT use this garage if you're here for a high-crowd event. The terminal is slow, and I can't imagine trying to get a giant crowd out of here. It worked fine for an average evening and morning with just a few stragglers around.

It was nowhere near the stadium so it wasn't a good fit for me to have. There also was no attendant to ask questions or how to get a refund. Therefore I lost $45.
