I came to them with a pretty overwhelming and highly complex tax situation that required digging through multiple years of past transcripts. Roslyn didn't just handle it; she completely took the stress out of the process. She was incredibly thorough--catching missing documents, identifying potential deductions I would have never known about, and actually taking the time to outline a solid tax strategy for my future filings. What truly makes Roslyn different from other CPAs I've encountered is her patience. She has this amazing ability to take complicated tax jargon and break it down so it actually makes sense. Her experience and track record speak for themselves, but it's her personable approach to getting the work done that makes her the best in the industry. I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend her to anyone!

Thai is a very dishonest person, in 2023 I contacted him to get my business taxes done. This was my…read morefirst mistake as he had no experience working with a property management company. He marked my business revenue as over $1 million when my business only made around 200,000 that year and I was forced to pay an astronomical amount of taxes which I needed to hire a new CPA to fix in the following years not only this I did not decide to continue with his services and he did not contact me for two years then randomly one day he decided to send me a bill of over $14,000 claiming that for the past two Years he had been reconciling my books keep in mind there was zero communication between the two of us for over two years and then randomly out of nowhere he sends me an invoice for $14,000 and threatened to sue me. If I do not pay, I refuse to pay since there were no services provided and now he decided to file a claim in small claims court, but is only suing me for $6000 I offered to reimburse him for a QuickBooks subscription that he had on my behalf but he did not accept and is asking me to pay him over $500 per month for reconciliation services on a bank account that has zero transactions monthly. Please avoid this CPA at all cost. There are much better options in the Bay Area.

6 month follow-up update…read more. I know you may have been waiting with bated breath, so I'll try my best to keep this short. After 20+ additional emails (between both parties), we were finally able to receive our federal and state abatements from 2024. While this is good news and we are pleased with the outcome, it does not negate the unpleasant experience. After the last review, they took note and designated someone to call the IRS on our behalf, instead of repeatedly sending papers in the mail that the IRS would never receive. After receiving the federal abatement, we then had to ask them to help with the state abatement. In case you aren't aware (since I was initially not educated on this matter), you are allowed a 1-time federal and state abatement. Meaning, if you are in good standing, they will erase your fines, but not the interest. Some additional notes: 1. They are a global team, as their new name implies (Unified Global). This means that your team may be located in various time zones and countries. 2. Their software is straightforward and simple to follow, which I did appreciate. 3. Their timelines for filing, in my opinion, do not include a sufficient buffer if you have additional questions and/or corrections. We were asked several times to remove the last review, and after some thought, I have chosen to amend it. Similar to prior Yelpers, I believe that it they have improved their services, my initial review will just be background noise as the one off.
