Per night it was around $100 Swiss Francs which is relatively inexpensive for the city. The front desk is fluent in English and provide great recommendations if you want to tour Zurich. Only downside I experienced was the poor wifi reception I got in my room. Also, they have a van to take you to the airport in the morning.

Downfall is the room we got. Room 327 ! If you ever get this room ASK for a different one. It's right across the hall from the room service close/facility. Kept us up till almost midnight loud talking, banging , shuffling things. I get it they are working but I was trying to rest. Also got a knock on the door while I was sleeping giving us a bottle or body was that we did not request it was the wrong room.

Their wifi didn't let me view a 30 second video clip on Watsapp, it said this wifi doesn't allow video. this was also something i have never experienced with a hotel wifi, where I have paid for the room. All cofee in room was just decaf, they had take away cup holders and lids but no cups. We did a 10 day europe trip, all hotels were good and we slept well except for this one, good that we had to be here just for one night, but it would have been better to sleep before a long flight.

Heidi, the staff member who took care of me upon arrival and check-out, was so nice, and her English was easy to understand. The price was reasonable, and while I stayed in a private room, there are couch options at a notable lower price. The space was clean and simply appointed. There was a television and sink in the room, but I didn't do anything but sleep, and I can attest--the bed was comfortable and the temperature of the room was comfortable. I'll definitely be staying here again. If only I can convince them to implement a loyalty program...

When i went to request a quieter room, the (different) person at the front desk said the noise would stop by 11 pm. then resume at 6 am. Then added, unnecessarily, "you're at the airport, it's going to be noisy." Also, rooms are too warm, bathrooms are out in the hall even for private rooms, no TV stations in English and only one in French. Save yourself a hundred bucks and a lot of aggravation and just sleep in the airport itself.

With the recent implementation of the EES for non-EU citizens and people on social media freaking out over it, I was a bit anxious about how long I'll be standing in line for and saddened that EU countries will no longer be stamping passports. Some EU countries rolled out EES as early as end of 2025, everyone else waited until April 2026, 2-3 countries have an app to expedite the process. Switzerland? Well, there were no EES kiosks. You have to stand in line for an immigrations officer. What I found annoying was once immigrations officer who was not doing anything as the lines keep growing. All he did was confuse people to tell them to stand on this line only to tell them to go back to the end of the line then go to the next line. He did that to multiple people including myself. He's just toying with people at that point. Good thing I didn't have any plans after my arrival since I was anticipating being stuck at the airport for at least 2 hours. ZRH itself is quite nice. You can get last-minute chocolate shopping at Laderach or just enjoy a good cup of hot chocolate and chocolate cake at Sprüngli - both with multiple locations inside the airport. There's also plenty of decent eateries to choose from. Getting to the city and back is pretty easy. There are multiple ways to do so. Multiple trains that go to Zürich Hauptbahnhof that take under 20 minutes. The airport is easy to navigate. Signage is clear. Bathrooms are clean. Potable water even through tap.

Staff was nice, but not overly helpful for travelers trying to figure out things like the local train schedule. Train station closer-by, easy walk. Rooms were just OK. Cutesy little safe handles on all the doors. Not located in the best part of the city, but safe. Our main criticism of the hotel (like the review of the restaurant there) is that they allow smoking in the building. We get it, in Europe smoking is much more of a thing than in the U.S., but the Kameha Grand was the only hotel we visited in two weeks that allowed smoking indoors. The hotel would claim "it's only a section in the restaurant." That may well be, but it's like the early attempts to segregate non-smokers in U.S. restaurants into a different section, no walls, no fans, no filtration system, just a separate area. That's the Kameha Grand. Apparently management is obvious to the spread of cigarette smoke throughout the building. It smelled like a casino with no ventilation. For the price, you have to do better than that. If you're a heavy smoker, Kameha Grand is your kind of place. For a non-smoker, we cannot recommend you stay there.
