In November 2022, having worked with Rich Marin before and believing him to be a trustworthy…read moreneighbor, I paid him in full the $1,400 he quoted me to remove a cottonwood from my front yard ($1,000) and the remains of a wind-damaged ailanthus from my back patio ($400). After almost completing the cottonwood removal, leaving me with a messy unfinished stump and a slew of heavy garden ornamentals to move back into place myself, Rich went home sick promising to return another day to complete the project. Not only did he never return, but since then he has ignored all attempts at phone or email communication. So, unless you are looking for a contractor who is unprofessional/unreliable, does not honor estimates/complete projects, and is apparently willing to cheat a 77-year-old cancer patient on fixed income, I cannot recommend this service.
